grrrr thinking abt oops all orphans specifically how they come to the orphanage. robin we know a little abt his situation (like how he still keeps in touch with some family???? those fuckers???) and kylar is not hard to figure out he's got demon parents. whitney i believe also has some family lore confirmed particularly that it is Not Good so its also easy to draw conclusions abt how he ends up in the orphanage. but sydney........ sydney the orphan is tickling my brain.

already we have one parent out of the picture... we dont know how iirc but its easy to lump sirris in or have them taken out of the picture later on for more trauma (sorry sirris) but then begs the question of why the temple didn't take sydney in. oh the betrayal a young syd would have now that he's being tormented by bailey's payments bc what? he wasn't pure enough? he angered the temple somehow? what did he do to deserve being left in such a cruel place? what would that do to his faith?
