Pether’s Moon and Pat Dobbs were unexpected, but well-deserved, winners of the Coronation Cup at Epsom, 6 June 2015. It was Pether’s first victory since the Cumberland Lodge Stakes last October and Pat’s first ever Group 1 victory.

The French Group 1-winning dou Dolniya and Christophe Soumillon (green cap) finished a neck beind in second with Flintshire and Maxime Guyon (pink cap) third.

Dolniya and Christophe Soumillon (green silks, white nosebond) third, last year's winner Trêve and Thierry Jarnet (grey silks) fourth, Sultanina and Ryan Moore (pink silks) fifth, Madame Chiang and Mickäel Barzalona sixth, Siljan's Saga and Pierre-Charles Boudot seventh, Red Lips and Fabrice Vernon eighth, and Chalnetta with Julien Auge ninth.
