Really fun Dolores observation that I have, might be a reach but I don’t care
This has been in my drafts since January. I don’t know why my procrastination gets so bad…
Anyway, at the time that I started writing this, I had recently watched Some Like It Hot, a movie that I absolutely LOVE, it still holds up as a queer comedy in my opinion and many others’. I’m not going to go deep into it but if you want to know more information, watch Matt Baume’s video on it. Or, ya know, the movie itself. Basically, there’s an all female jazz band that has a trombonist named Dolores and I feel like I briefly went insane.
I am not claiming that her puppeteer naming her Dolores was definitely a direct reference to this, I’ve never been like that no matter the context, this is purely just a very self indulgent observation that I knew nobody else would have. I felt like I was acting out of character when I made the connection. But it really makes sense, doesn’t it ? Is there any other obvious female trombonist named Dolores that I don’t know about ???? Like, she has short curly blonde hair and everything…
I enjoy the idea and feel I could relate muppet Dolores to movie Dolores in personality and charm rather than the shared name and instrument. Muppet Dolores doesn’t have a personality anyway so she’s got to get one from somewhere…

I deeply regret the immense lack of Trumpet Girl/Dolores (The Muppets) portraits that I have sent out into the public since my previous work. It is a deep flaw in my way of being that I have no pleasure in disclosing but alas, I must, for I am too humble to be ignorant to my failures. I have chosen Trumpet Girl/Dolores (The Muppets) as my brand for I genuinely respect her accidental lonesome nature due to her being banished to the Godforsaken background, or most commonly known: The Orchestra Pit, and for my respect and devotion to her, I sincerely apologise to her and my fellow Trumpet Girl/Dolores (The Muppets) appreciating peers.
