With The Banana Splits around the fire pit on some summer's evening "up at the lake," swapping stories as much as Polish sausage
DROOPER, almost getting a little ahead of himself: For some reason or another, I was just having this rather amusing fantasy of us being at some dolphin park, all of us standing by the main dolphin petting pool ... BINGO, adding his own quarter to the tale: ... and for some reason, it seemed this particular dolphin as swam up to us found us rather irresistable, never mind our furry bodies for the most part! SNORKY: [Rather incessant honking which Drooper interprets as "Almost as if she wanted us to make love to her!"] FLEEGLE, getting his due: And one of the attendants taking note of this was of the suggestion that maybe we might want to get into the water with said dolphin and perhaps swim with the pod ... she had us following her and invited us to get into wetsuits for the experience! BINGO, somewhat lovestruck at the thought: That guide must've looked rather attractive, especially in a wetsuit! FLEEGLE, flustered: Perhaps attractive enough to make love with her, if you had the chance? BINGO: How else could it be pictured? [Laughter throughout, Bingo continuing after a few moments thus--] And we couldn't help but feel a little crazy between the legs as the dolphins approached us in the dolphin-swim area, with some assistance from this particular guide-- DROOPER: As if the dolphins were looking for us to do more than merely kiss and hug them ... you know, like swim with them? SNORKY, rather excitedly: [Excited honking, interpreted by Drooper as "They certainly wanted us to dive along with them ... and it certainly felt all the more delightful, just hanging on by the dolphin's pectorals and ascending quickly through the water, eventually splashing through in sheerest ecstasy!"] FLEEGLE: And what made it even more interesting is that the whole came about about an hour before they opened to the general public! BINGO: By special invitation, you might say! DROOPER: And I assume there were a few press photos and B-roll produced of our experience as well? BINGO: Actually, this was more of a private experience at the invitation of the management ... but could you just sense the sheer awe and wonder of being in such wondrous underwater company? FLEEGLE: Let's hope, fellow Splits, that if we have a serious dolphin encounter-- BINGO, interjecting: Let me guess--you'd probably want it in more of a natural setting, perhaps even tropical like, all of us wearing ourselves for the most part, and the dolphins themselves being rather lovesick and looking for us to maybe make love with them-- [Stunned, momentary silence, followed by almost spontaneous laughter]

Airbnb has made it easier to include animal experiences in your travel – they have created a roster of ethical rescue organizations and sanctuaries that are supported by World Animal Protection.
You won’t find Seaworld or similar amusement parks on their list, nor African hunting safaries…instead you’ll find an inspiring list of groups working hard to save animals.

What to know: Royal Dolphin experience with Dolphin Discovery
What to know: Royal Dolphin experience with Dolphin Discovery
When I was on a Caribbean cruise this winter, one of the things I really wanted to do was have a dolphin encounter. After looking up reviews and locations, I decided my best bet was to do the Royal Dolphin Experience at the Dolphin Discovery center in St. Kitts. They have many sites around the Caribbean (including Florida and Mexico).
