Paul Desmond After Brubeck: The Canadian Connection

On his Jazz History Online site, Tom Cunniffe wrote a great essay on Paul Desmond, from the disbanding of the Dave Brubeck Quartet to his celebrated live recordings in Toronto with Ed Bickert, Don Thompson and Terry Clarke or Jerry Fuller. In its 2020 update, Tom's essay includes Mosaic's new box set on Desmond's 1975 Toronto recordings.
