We go work knowing that we are not going to get paid until the designated payday, be it a week, two weeks, or a month away. In certain industries, you may get paid by the job, so payday may be even further away. Doctors, lawyers, and others go to school for years before they can actually begin to earn from their chosen profession.

Doing good is not always rewarded right away, just as seeds sown do not grow and bear fruit right away. It may seem like nothing is coming from your good deeds. Do good anyway. It may seem that no one notices the good you do. Do good anyway. You may be criticized for the good you do. Do good anyway.

Do not be discouraged. Rest if you must, but do not stop doing good! Harvest time will come. You will reap the benefits of good deeds sown, and joy will fill your heart.

I love Aragorn to bits, but the man seriously needs to sleep, like remember that time he rode on the paths of the dead really quick, got the ghosts to follow him, got those ships, sailed to Minas Tirith, fought a huge af battle, lost his cousin in that battle, then went to heal Faramir, Eowyn, Merry and a bunch of other people and then FINALLY went to sleep for probably like 2 hours before getting back up to plan ANOTHER battle and then a week later went to fight that next battle and then fought that battle and then healed Frodo and Sam and probably Pippin and bunch of other guys? Elladan and Elrohir, you are his brothers get the idiot to go to sleep.

What (not) to do When Moving and Having a Chronic Illness

I also thought about entitling this post “Learn from Joan’s Mistakes”

-If you get regular IV fluids schedule them for as close to before your move as possible

-Lots of water

-Don’t wait to pack until the night before

-Drink more water

-Don’t accidentally pack your orthotics

-You need more water

-Just because you don’t faint on moving day doesn’t mean you won’t the next day

-So drink lots of water that day too

-Staying up to put together IKEA furniture after moving will not make for a pleasant next morning

-Did I mention you need more fluids?!!!

Actually working on something! Shocker. An old project that came over in triangles in a big ziploc bag. Just working on which version I like better. On the right hand side in the first picture, it isn't an optical illusion, but the triangles are bent in the corner.
