So excited to announce our @Outfest screening date and time for You Turn. We’ll be screening at the TCL Chinese Theater (Hollywood & Highland) on July 21 @ 1pm before the feature Carmen And Lola. . . Come celebrate 10 wonderful days of cinema at Outfest's annual Festival. Our film is a glimpse into the encounter we had with the police, the day before our wedding. We wanted to spotlight the psychological imprint and harsh reality of police brutality. How quickly microaggression could go from thought to justified violence. It is a conversation we wanted to share from our own personal occurrence. In memory and homage to the countless many who have not lived thru simple routine traffic stops, like Sandra Bland and Philando Castile. We know the topic is heavy but the reality has gotten horrifically worse in a short amount of time. The goal is to stir emotions that might shine a light from a different perspective.
