Not taking responsibility for your own dumb ass actions while drinking and "blaming it on the alcohol" is childish and stupid. Have we all gotten drunk at some point and done something we shouldn't? Of course. But real people OWN THE FUCK UP to doing it. Did you do it because you were drunk? NO. Alcohol does not physically force you to do something you actually did not want to do. Alcohol inhibits brain functions, as stated previously. Meaning, in layman's terms, you get "loose". If you have sex with your ex while you're drunk, you've definitely thought about doing it sober. Don't fucking lie. Whatever you do, whether it is drunk or sober, you have control over what you are doing, whether you remember doing it or not. YOU are the only person in control of your body. Consciously, you may think "Oh! No, I would never do THAT." But your subconscious, for one reason or another, might be thinking about him or her. And you should probably handle that shit before you decide it's a good idea to drink around them.  Have I done it? Yes. I have. I've done really regrettable things while drunk. I'll be the first to admit. But saying "Oh, I'm drunk. It's whatever. I wouldn't normally do this" is no fucking excuse. Man up and fucking grow a pair.
