Donut Star has that old school donut shop look that so many donut shops have and the offerings are old school basic. Prices are very reasonable. Basic donuts are $1.
You’ll find lotto tickets, cigarettes, soda, ice cream, croissants, and lots of donuts: cake, old fashioned, glazed, twist, buttermilk, jelly, bear claw, apple fritters, donut holes, etc. The fancier donuts were huge and so were the croissants.
* Chocolate donut with chocolate frosting and chopped peanuts: Extra crispy exterior, the interior was still moist, not a lot of chocolate flavor (but that’s true for most chocolate donuts) but lots of chopped peanuts, the frosting was pretty good for an old school donut shop
