Teen Skk fic idea I'll write eventually

💌 I've been too lazy to write this but I've had this hc that pm Dazai has horrible insomnia & Chuuya often finds him asleep in the most random ass places but despite his grumbling he always carries Dazai back to his office to lay him on the couch

The last thing he needs is that bastard falling asleep mid mission and when Dazai does wake up he's touched that his dog takes such good care of him but Chuuya only scoffs at him to get better sleep

Dazai pauses unsure if he should bring it up but Chuuya probably assumes he has narcolepsy at this point since this is the 7th time he's passed out in the hallway so he shrugs & says "Insomnia sucks" thinking that'll be the end of it

But then Chuuya throws a bottle of Nyquil his way bc after the flags died he had trouble sleeping but it worked for him, it's not like he cares or anything he's just sick of dragging his unconscious ass around HQ

That night Dazai takes it but feels nothing then downs the rest bc what's the worst that can happen he's about to call Chuuya to complain when he starts seeing shit (Fireflies by owl city animatic coming soon) Dazai starts hallucinating, dancing around his office high af

He's so out of it he doesn't realize that 1) he did call Chuuya & 2) Chuuya's been standing there recording everything laughing his ass off

Chuuya only feels the need to call Mori when the singing gets unbearable & Dazai tries to dance with him

They consider pumping his stomach but Dazai throws up on his own from all the twirling and passes out

A few days later his insomnia is worse to the point he's spacing out mid conversion & writing his reports in crayon

This time Chuuya buys 3 bottles, a box of donuts and decides to stay and watch the show but Dazai starts thinking all the donuts are little Dazai’s & starts crying bc Chuuya keeps eating them

I get so spooked to make any content for the BSD fandom because I don’t want to make a false interpretation of any of the characters, and then there’s Dazai being described as a donut and nothing more and everyone is just rolling with it. I’m freed.

I hate/love the donutzai thing so much because y’all don’t understand how much brain power I’ve put towards figuring out how Dazai truly is on the inside and then for the real answer to be “no one fucking knows” like I might lose it
