the colored character's thing is, admittedly, pretty amusing, but its also kind of scary. it gives off the same vibes as a zombie apocalypse right outside my small country home

listen im gonna be perfectly honest im not great at literary analysis. im like the ogre from that one meme. you know the one. but one thing i noticed a lot about DAWTDE is the many baptism like things. even in SFAWTDE, d3rlord3 dropped into a massive fucking pool of water at least once, which is like, okay, sure, one time or so, but in DAWTDE, everytime avery needs to go through a gate, he must go into the darkness, before turning around and coming back out the way he came into a different world. not to mention his own massive fucking drop into a big pool of water, which was very clearly a point of no return. and also, you know, 12 hours of putting himself in a pond of water and coming back up. in front of a church. its like the whole journey was just a ritual, a way to prepare him to be the vessel, to be the king's.
