Snape wouldn’t recover from Harry dying. Like not just in a severitus scenario, i’m talking like this can be applied to their canon relations. He’d probably see it as his ultimate failure, even above that of calling Lily what he had, as loosing her son she gave her life to protect is a harm far more indescribable than their lost friendship. Not to mention watching Harry grow up, doing all he could to protect him, just to see him die in the end. All he had worked for was for nothing.

Harry’s existence is ultimately what held Snape together after Lilys passing, motivating him to keep living in order to keep him safe. if he outlives Harry in the war, that reason is simply not there.

this is so random but by any chance did you make artwork of snape visiting harry’s grave? and the dialogue being somewhere around “it’s been a year don’t be sad anymore dad” or something like that?? i’ve been trying to hard to find this art piece and im like 80% sure it was in ur artstyle or something similar 😭😭

Harry’s grave is in the clearing in the forbidden forest where Voldemort killed him . Not even the Acromantulas disturb it, and his friends who survived the war visit often when they’re at Hogwarts

But no one visits more often than Snape

give me severitus where they 'bond fast' because Harry is desperate for family(and before anyone tries to defend Harry's honor, the guy wanted to live with Sirius after knowing the dude for maybe thirty minutes) and Severus sees him as a connection to Lily, but they end up using each other for their own gain and it crashes and burns but one side had already begun to see the other one in a different way

Doomed Severitus mood, so I'm thinking that around Harry's 5th or 6th year Severus Dumbledore find out that Harry is Snape's son. By that time, Harry is tired, bitter and so used to being on his own he doesn't want another bully for a relative. Meanwhile Severus has hope. Harry is his child, his son, he can have a at least somewhat functioning family of his own with the woman he loved...

They clash. It's a staple of Severitus but this time, they are not managing to work together.

It's Harry turning Severus' words spoken in the past and present alike against him, it's Harry comparing Severus, the man that still joined the Death Eaters of his own volition to his abhorrent muggle relatives. It's Harry holding Severus, broken, sobbing, at a wandpoint and demanding to be left alone, to know what happened, how Harry happened...

And it's Severus, watching his son slipping further out of his reach, unwilling to accept it has been his fault as well, watching him dive into the same Dark Arts that Severus did at his age. He's proud and worried at the same time.

Summer of Metanoia- A severitus daily prompt fest!

I was thinking of ways to encourage interaction/creations within the Severitus community and ended up deciding on making SoM!! I feel like daily prompts can help severitus fans brainstorm ideas and inspire them to participate with their own takes on the prompt!! I’d love to get insights on people’s passions and perspective of severitus from this, so go crazy!!

There’s no rules to this other than it obviously revolving around severitus! Choose whatever way you want to use the prompts, from art to writing to literally anything, just have fun!!
