HTTYD THOUGHTS:

You know.. I've always wondered about book 4 (How to cheat a dragon's curse)

Especially when the doomfang and Hiccup were fighting for the potato young me just thought hiccup could just cut it in half for them to share right? But I did some digging and I found that there was a factor that made me rethink this

1. If he lets go since he was supposedly holding the potato with two hands the potato would just go straight to the doomsfang As the tongue was very very slippery and he just recovered from a big fight, his strength would not be enough for only one hand to battle the doomfang

Partially inspired by the Got and HOTD dragons. As I don't remember if the Doomfang was ever seen above water besides it's head and tail and I couldn't find any full body references. And the grey/(blue?) herons I see flying out my window every now and again.
