As more and more people are being forced to switch to Windows 11, Microsoft's most AI-malware-ridden OS yet, I've been putting together articles and links for how to undo the damage and save your battery, your RAM, your disk space, your privacy, and your sanity from this bullshit.
FIRST:

It's very easy, even if you're not tech savvy or get scared of pop up windows saying "ARE YOU SURE?" Yes, you are sure, I promise. This program takes maybe two minutes and will save you SO MUCH pain, time, and money (and exploitation).
Now that you've done that, here's the cleanup, to catch the little shit that the debloat might have missed (most of this will already be done by debloat, but hey, it's good to double check).

Even just reading about some of these features makes me angry. Fucking Copilot and "Discover" AI scrapers are in Notepad. NOTEPAD. And then there's this uncanny valley garbage:

Hi, so I was watching HTTYD (the first one) again, and I noticed something that had slipped past me for all these years.
Hiccup's pants have really crude stitch marks on the sides of them. And I'm going off the fact that he was making his own "outfits" (flying suits, harnesses, saddles, etc.) and I'm assuming he did the stitch job, and then I got to thinking, "Who taught him how to sew?" It wasn't his mother, since she was taken when he was a baby, and it couldn't be Stoick, since he's busy with Chiefly duties, so that brought me to the choice that honestly should've been obvious from the start.
Gobber. And yeah, he's Gobber's apprentice, but stay with me for a moment.
Imagine: a young Hiccup Haddock being bullied and pushed around. He's shoved to the ground and not only did he skin his knee, but he also tore his pants. The other Viking kids are laughing and pointing. UNTIL GOBBER IS RUNNING AT THEM WITH SOME KIND OF THREATENING GIZMO FOR A PROSTHETIC HAND. They all scramble, and while Gobber is yelling, "GO ON, GET!", Hiccup is sniffling and trying to wipe away his tears.
He doesn't want Gobber to think of him as weak like everyone else does. But Gobber doesn't say anything about his tears, he tuts at the torn pant leg and hoists the boy in the air.
"Never too young to learn how to mend things. Have I ever told you the story of when I had to mend my pants after a Gronkle set them on fire?"
Hiccup shakes his head.
"Well, I'll tell you all about it! See, I had to mend them while they were STILL on fire! I'll show you all the techniques and stitch jobs. Your pants will be too strong to rip, and then those bullies will be the ones who are embarrassed!"

Whenever I see a bad episode it makes me so sad because it's literally DOCTOR ABUSE. take better care of your Doctor ffs. They need enrichment and hijinks!
god Viggo is such a theatre kid. Dude really dressed himself in a cloak and crouched in a dragon cage just to make his first encounter with Hiccup as dramatic as possible. What a loser, I love him so much.

it was obvious before, but i'm rewatching defenders of berk, and i just love ep 7 "worst in show". not only hiccup's got a small red and green dragon (only coz it was the last one in the box) just like in the books, but the gang also were training said dragons, also like in the books! love love love this little nod to the books 🥰
