I had an oc a loooong time ago that had a wrench tail, so drawing that was super nostalgic. But yeah, just a tough cookie based off of your Tails! ... I don't remember why I drew a fish, but it made me laugh, so I left it there. Maybe that's his pet for some... reason... xD

I love Jeff, he's freaking adorable

He's an honest boy trying his best. I didn't make Jeff specifically for Omega Buys Printer Ink until I actually started drafting the script itself past the rough outline, and I realized he'd be the perfect character to pair up with the big guy.

The thing about Sonic media is that while Omega is ridiculous, the most high-contrast character that could really bounce off of him is Cream, and even she can be a destructive force when she needs to be. Jeff on the other hand is what mainline Sonic media is sorely lacking in: Pathetic little guys who don't want to fight. So, here we are! I'm glad the first post I made of Jeff was received so well, because that gave me the proper confidence to actually use him for this story.

You'll learn a bit more about him in the next update, but here's some fun facts:

Jeff sounds like Shadow with the slightest, tiniest bit of audio compression. When he's at his absolute most-anxious and critically-worried, his voice warbles like those funny distortion voice filters. Subject to Morty-like voice cracks, though rare. He does say "geez" a decent bit, though again not as much.

He's extremely organized and tidy, until he gets too anxious, and makes a mess-- that he then rapidly re-organizes into a sometimes more efficient arrangement than things were previously.

He has much more than an ounce of Shadow's sense of justice, but because he's a coward he has to swallow his fear when standing up for something. Imagine the conviction of Shadow's "fight like I always have" line, but with a lot more choked tears, trembling hands, and stuttering.

Jeff fears for his life on a daily basis, usually over things that anyone close to being the ultimate life form couldn't possibly be scared of. He's terrified of getting into car accidents on his used scooter, but that much is somewhat rational given the hiked insurance rates on his moped.

Jeff currently sleeps and recharges in an unused janitor closet, to "save on rent".

College Eclipse - Him and Geoffrey have a rocky start, but they become fast friends! They start hanging out, and it isn't long until they meet Finley Barker, another resident alien... who goes by the name of INFINITE!!!!!!!!!! What college adventures awaits these dorks?????

Thinking about a couple of my favourite scenes from your fics, and I gotta ask - which ones were YOUR favourite to write? Great work, love ya Qwert!

Oh man, I love anything with character interaction. Anything where characters just chit-chat, or trade snark, or get advice, or just get something out that they really needed to say.

I had a lot of fun writing the campfire scenes in Campfire Tails, between the family. The banter between the Blue Bandit and Deputy Knuckles were also fun in that one.

The confrontation scene at the end of After the Dust Settles, between Sonic and Knuckles was one of my favorites, too. Lotta angst, and anger and just getting stuff out in the open that needed said.

Anything with Knuckles is fun for me. I love that boy so much, and his speech patterns are so different than anyone else's.

Eclipse is so much fun to play with, because he's got zero filter, and is just such a gremlin.

And of course, Callie. Nuff said.

But I think mostly I love the quiet scenes. The deep thinking scenes, the moments between characters. Scenes that make the characters real, and the readers feel for them. Those are my favorites.

Headcanons for when the boys are all growed up - Sonic coaches the school baseball team, Tails has a little appliance-repair business, and Knuckles... it'd be easy to say he opens a gym or something but nah - HE IS A CHEF. He learned to cook from Maddie and she taught that boy good!

That sounds too good to not be true for those boys to have those careers
