There's no chemistry between them at all, it makes me so mad. He looks like pedo with her. Why on earth Yoo In Na is no paired with him. He is beautiful, she is beautiful. They would be like the most beautiful paring of this year. And they are almost the same age. I waited months for this drama and they kind of ruined it wih that main chick. And I think the romance will start soon, he is already interesting in her.
I think the lack of chemistry for the moment is more because of the age gap and how opposite they are? I think as she grows and hopefully changes their connection will get deeper. Eun Tak is 19. She’s very loud, boisterous, talkative and wears her heart on her sleeve. It’s a complete contrast to the Goblin who has been living on earth for hundreds of year, and is quite reserved. Also, they’ve only just met. Obviously this is all just my own opinion. Completely understand feeling differently. Sometimes we feel the chemistry, and sometimes we don’t. TBH I wasn’t fond of the actress who is playing Eun Tak because I tried watching Cheese In The Trap (she was the lead there), and I didn’t enjoy the show at all. I couldn’t finish it.
Yoo In Na is absolutely stunning. The thing is even if they are the almost the same age (the actors), she would still have to play 19 year old Eun Tak. So there may have been more chemistry but the age gap still exists. And it would still be the same character we see now just different actor. Chemistry wise though I can see how there could be more there. Maybe. He does look much much older than her so I agree it’s a bit weird. But even if they looked closer in age, character-wise it’s still a 19 year old we’re talking about. So problematic either way it’s spun.
I’m hoping the writer knows what they are doing and that the romance won’t really start till midway or farther, unless there’s another time jump . Because there has to be a lot more development before that can happen. I’m fine with the joking of her being his bride and romance being brought up if it’s not being taken seriously. EG. that hilarious scene where he’s barging into the Reapers room asking what looks better on him.
TBH my only problem with Goblin is the age gap. But it’s only been two episodes so i’m hoping it’ll sort itself out. I don’t know if you’ve seen I Hear Your Voice. But that age gap made me quite uncomfortable till the very end where there’s an age gap, and serious development. So I’m comfortable giving a show a decent amount of episodes now before I write it off for this reason.
Personally i’m loving the show very very much. I love the music, cinematography, premise, plot, and the actors. The way each characters introduced is really intriguing and awesome I felt. I find myself laughing at a lot of it. Were it not for the age gap i’d be even more obsessed and in love with it than I currently am. That’s all that’s stopping me from going all the way.
SORRRRYYYY for rambling. omg. I love you babe hope this doesn’t annoy you HAHA. <3
