Doppel #11: La Hire La Hire!

I will never know how to pronounce this

As much as the "really nice til angry" trope is done to death, I really like Melissa! She's just so friendly and loves her friends and her dad so much and it's so cute!

I haven't read Tart Magica, but is there any significance to Melissa's Doppel/Witch being named after her father's name? People refer to him as the Wrath of God, so I guess Melissa at her angriest is twice as wrathful and angry! The whole Wrath of God thing could also fit in with Jeanne's Doppel and its theme of purging things with holy fire.

I love me some Christian/Catholic ladies who also kick ass.

I like how it takes the kleptomania of Grandma Misono and turns it up to 11! It's a good example of how one's wish can backfire. At first it just lets Karin be a spectacular thief, but in the end makes her shoulder her grandmother's burden. Real nice
