Trump Weird News - Ivanka - Puzzlement & Transference
ROUND 1, Part 20
Which doppel is your favorite?
Old Dorothy (Alina Gray)
McDougal (Karin Misono)
Winchester (Mikoto Sena)
Hund Balou (Hanna Sarasa)
Mw doppel variants for halloween Old dorothy (Alina’s doppel) and McDougal (Karin’s), and mermaid Elfriede (Momoko’s) and Totentaz (Mitama’s). I know the doppels aren’t actually there for those variants but I just wanted to design them anyway :V I think they all came out super cute
I was hesistant to make the girls mermaids since I thought it may come out a bit silly but they’re okay. I had fun with their swimsuits too <3
McDougal
Mare Island Light House
The first lighthouse to mark the entrance to Carquinez Strait was built at the southern end of Mare Island in 1873. For most of its years of operation, the Mare Island Lighthouse was kept by Kate McDougal. Kate’s husband, Charles McDougal, was the son of the Mare Island’s third commandant (Captain D. McDougal 3/15/1861 – 6-5-1861) and served as an inspector for the Lighthouse Service. In 1881, Charles inspected California lighthouses aboard a lighthouse tender. As he approached Cape Mendocino, Charles strapped on a money belt containing the keepers pay in gold coins and boarded a launch for his trip to shore. In a tragic moment, Charles and two other crewmembers drowned when the launch capsized in the breakers along the beach.
In those times Kate McDougal would have been left to fend for herself, but inspector McDougal's friends in the Navy made sure that his family was looked after. One of those friends was none other than George Dewey, a classmate of Inspector McDougal at the Naval Academy and the future Spanish-American war hero. At the time George Dewey was the naval secretary of the lighthouse board and in a unique position of influence. He arranged for Kate to serve at Mare Island as the keeper of the Mare Island lighthouse when Mrs. Watson, the prior keeper, resigned soon after Charles McDougal’s unfortunate death. For her first Christmas at the station, the naval officers from Mare Island strung a telephone line from the Navy Yard out to the lighthouse. This helped ease some of the loneliness Kate initially experienced at the station. She certainly must have learned to enjoy her life at the lighthouse, for she would remain its keeper until it was discontinued in 1917 35 years later. As the keeper she had to maintain and daily light the oil lamp in the Fresnel lens, crank up a 200lb weight that rotated the lens through a clockwork mechanism, similarly she had to maintain the fog-bell and machinery which was also powered by a heavy weight that was required to be cranked up daily. In addition to these duties she had to maintain the station, keep the coal stove working and maintain the cisterns that were used for drinking water.

Apple Update: Doppel Drop Double Feature
Soooo I caved and bought some Last Magia tickets. But you know what? It was worth it!
After a couple months of grinding, all that was standing between Karin and McDougal was some bunny ear cotton
And then I bought it so
Doppel #7: McDougal
I like how it takes the kleptomania of Grandma Misono and turns it up to 11! It's a good example of how one's wish can backfire. At first it just lets Karin be a spectacular thief, but in the end makes her shoulder her grandmother's burden. Real nice
And then I got sheep horns and ran out of CC
SO THEN I GRINDED AND GOT
Doppel #8: Giovanna
It kinda hurts seeing how little Iroha likes her doppel. Not liking your doppel is common but she's straight up embarrassed by it. I don't exactly get it? But it looks cool at least
Now hecc
It's Godoka time
Trump's lawyers argued that Trump's tax returns can't be given to a New York grand jury because he is immune from state criminal law, even if he were to shoot someone on Fifth Avenue
A New York District Attorney is investigating--among other things--the payments Trump made to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal before the 2016 election to buy their silence about the affairs he allegedly had with them (which are illegal campaign contributions because they were intended to influence the 2016 election). When the DA issued subpoenas to Trump’s accountant for his financial records, including tax records, he immediately ran into federal court to demand that they be quashed. He lost, and immediately appealed.
Trump’s attorneys are now arguing that a sitting president is absolutely immune to all state criminal investigation, arrest, charging, and prosecution, “no matter how heinous” the alleged crime(s). One of the appellate judges asked Trump’s attorney about Trump’s infamous boast that he “could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody.”
Judge Denny Chin: “Nothing could be done? That’s your position?”
Trump attorney William S. Consovoy: “That’s correct. Yes.”
The appellate judges appear somewhat skeptical.
