Taking a break from my Rain World shenanigans to propose that these two could make a pretty funny "good cop/bad cop" style brOTP based on this little snippet of dialogue from WondLa Book 3! That is, assuming Redimus would ever agree to work so closely with someone possessing such an opposite personality.
I'm doing a personal spin-off that I had back in high school about WondLa and also Doctor Who back when I had gotten into the show. (I know, I'm a fucking nerd. Don't hate. 😭😭) I hope you guys enjoy though!
"Who are you, strange creatures?" Queen Ojo questioned the 4 beings in front of her in her throne room. The taller, proud standing male stood in front of her, wearing a navy blue casual suit, with white sandshoes, smiled up at her.
"I'm the Doctor. And before I forget, these are my 3 companions. Well, I mean 2 companions. One is more like a child I babysat for over 3,000 years, give or take." He responded ever so casually with the Queen. The 3 that had accompanied him either snickered amongst themselves, or simply rolled their eyes, depending on the perspective. Queen Ojo stared at all of them in confusion, but slightly intrigued at their presence.
"To what do I owe this meeting, Doctor?" She asks him, her demeanor as rigid as ever. One of the 4 beings began to slowly wander off from the group, silent but ever curious about her surroundings. Her attire was something that couldn't stand out entirely, except for her snow white hair and unbelievably tacky long scarf tied tightly around her face, hiding her mouth in a timid fashion. She wandered ever so unnoticeable that she may have been invisible to her group, including Queen Ojo herself. This small being wandered ever so carefully, keeping an eye out for anything that may have been different. She began to sense a slight presence from her tiny yet pointed ears, feeling a heavy set of heartbeats in close proximity to her. There, she stood in front of a large white wall, completely devoid of any decorations or lavish paintings. She gently pressed her ear against the wall, tracing small circles on it with her fingertips.
'There it is.' She thought to herself, hearing the heavy heartbeats on the other side of the wall. She knew this was no ordinary wall. It was a door. How to get through it, though? This was easy for the little creature, as she began to phase through the wall, simply by inhaling once, holding her breath as she stepped through it, and exhaled once she was on the other side. She was in a prison block. Tons of cells filled the room, all looking like lab rat cages whenever she traveled to a hospital on another planet with the Doctor. She gently fidgeted at her scarf, a soft whimper muffled by the thick fabric adorned on her neck as she slowly moved forward. Her body was on high alert now, sensing everything close by, until she stopped at one prison cell. A large furry mass resided inside. Its form slowly rose up and down, signifying that it was a breathing being. She gently placed her fingertips on the glass door of the cell, immediately seeing the form tense up from the sudden yet soft noise her fingertips made. It looked up and turned to face her, making her jerk away nervously, tucking her arms close to her chest with worry. It had a mechanical eye for its right eye, a large beak at the end of its face, and a larger maw to match its massive frame. It slowly stood up on a set of its multiple limbs and stood in front of her. The only thing separating them was a thick sheet of glass. She stared at the creature nervously as it slightly tilted its head to the side, gently placing a set of its taloned hands on the wall of the cell. Her icy blue eyes stared at its one yellow eye, feeling trapped by its very stare. Then, it began to speak in a gravelly voice.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" It asked, almost as if it were whispering. It was a male, from the sound of its voice, making her slowly inch forward to its massive presence, completely dwarfing her own stature. She slowly reached out to touch the glass wall of his cell, both of her palms gently pressing slightly below his.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!? AUTHORIZED ACCESS ONLY, CRETIN!" A soldier yelled at her, immediately making her jump away from the cell by retreating from the booming voice. She was immediately on the defensive, her stance ready for an offensive strike. The guard loomed over her, boomrod in hand, cocked and aimed directly at her. The creature in the cell merely watched with dread, becoming uneasy that this small creature was being treated as a threat. As soon as the guard blasted the boomrod at her, she quickly dodged the attack with such grace and ease, it were as if it were a dance to her. Then, she immediately sprung in the air, approximately 15 feet above their heads, leaving their jaws agape at the sheer leg strength she had to pull off such a feat. She landed behind the guard and immediately sprinted off to go back to her group, leaving the creature alone once more in his cell.
Later on that same evening, Queen Ojo provided food and bedding for the newcomers but had not seen the 4th member the entire day. The creature sat alone, staring at the wall solemnly, until he heard a tapping on the wall. He immediately turned to see the same white-haired female that had appeared earlier. She waved a small wave at him and slowly phased a plate of food for him to eat through the glass wall.
Staring in shock, he had to speak to her. "How are you doing dat? Dat is... not common here at all. Who... or what are you?" He slowly walked towards the glass door. After placing the plate down, she started phasing her body through the glass, exhaling once she was completely in the cell. Her frame was beyond small compared to his, and yet she faced him fearlessly.
She slowly pulled down her scarf, revealing small yet plump lips, a big warm smile resting on her face as she spoke. "Hi. My name is Faith, and I came here to your planet with my group. The rest of my group is talking to Queen Ojo. She didn't even pay any mind that I was there, so I left. I only came here because I heard your heartbeats and smelled your presence." She gestured to his massive furry chest, his multiple limbs lightly pressed against himself. He looked at her as if she spoke an entirely different language but understood everything she said. Someone so small but fearless was being so polite to him. It was an experience he hadn't experienced in a good while, so it felt strange but slightly comfortable for him.
"Okay, Faith. What are you? And where did you come from?" He asked her slowly. She sat down in front of him, childishly swinging her legs.
"I'm a Darkling. My classification of my species is Celestial, and I'm the first and last of my kind. It's a long story as to where I come from, and I don't know if you have all night to want to listen to such drabble. But what's your name? I've never seen anything like you before." She speaks sweetly, almost sounding like a little girl. Her straightforward approach surprising the creature, almost hesitant to believe a single word she said.
"Well, my name is Redimuz, and I'm a Dorcean." He says as he gestures to himself with a taloned hand. She stares at him curiously from his odd accent.
"Why are you in here, Redimus? If you don't mind me asking." She asked, her voice ever so soft. He grimaced at her question, hoping to the point of dreading the very question. He rubbed his fur on the back of his head, sighing heavily, his chest rumbling as he did.
"I committed a terrible crime against the Queen. I'm not quite ready to tell you the full truz." He stated, almost in a hushed voice, fearing he'd be caught for speaking his past into existence at that very moment. She simply nodded, stood up, and slowly walked to him, almost invading his personal space. He hesitated, not expecting such a tiny creature to make him suddenly feel uneasy as she stared at his face intently. He felt as if he was being tested by her very stare, her icy blue eyes boring into his very soul, making him feel like he was drowning in the ocean, but could somehow still breathe.
"HOW DID YOU GET IN THERE!? DOCTOR, CONTROL YOUR COMPANION HERE THIS MINUTE, OR I WILL HAVE HER SEVERELY PUNISHED!" Queen Ojo erupted into a roar, sending everyone into a flustered panic, Faith immediately hiding behind Redimus's large furry hide while he slowly backs up away from the Queen in fear. The Doctor immediately rushes in, smirks at Faith, and then turns to the Queen.
"It seems that Faith has chosen a 4th companion. Faith, could you do me a favor and break him out of the prison cell?" The Doctor states with a big smirk at the Queen, while Faith grins widely with excitement. She immediately breaks the glass door of his cell down with just one simple kick from her heel, causing the glass door to shatter immensely. Once the door is down, an alarm triggers off, leading Faith to immediately grab Redimus's hand and pull him out of there. In a shocked stupor, Redimus blindly follows Faith and the Doctor while the other 2 companions were hiding in a blue box like machine.
'Diz iz dere traveling device?' Redimus thought to himself as the Doctor opened both doors, getting Redimus's large hide inside before Faith stepped in, who finally closed the doors of their transportation. The Doctor immediately jumped to the main control panel, leaving Redimus in absolute shock of everything in that supposed small box, appearing much bigger on the inside. Once the Doctor hits a button, they are off, traveling to a new adventure outside of Orbona itself.
"Redimus, welcome to the TARDIS. I'm the Doctor, your new captain in a sense, and the adopted parent of that little bugger who dragged you in. Now, I only have one question for you. Ready to travel through space and time itself as one of us?" The Doctor smirked at Redimus while his two companions and Faith stood in front of him with beckoning smiles. Redimus looked immensely flustered, his fur bristled up, his eye wide, but now only one thought remained. He was free from being imprisoned.
He answered only one word at the Doctor's proposal. "Yez."
This is a (Y/N) perspective story spread out into multiple parts. WondLa lore is in here and includes Dorceans and possible Dorcean and ethereal alien race. I hope you enjoy it! We'll also be heading into a bit of an NSFW area, possibly. If Tumblr lets me do it. Once I can, if you're under the age of 18, PLEASE DNI!!! DO NOT INTERACT! THANKS!
You moaned softly against his lips, eyes fluttering slightly from the warmth you felt kissing him. His eyes remained on you, but he wanted more. His large hands quickly grabbed you by your arms and hoisted you onto the bed with him, mainly keeping you within his reach. You could only let out small gasps from the shock of his sheer strength and his dominating actions he was putting to his own use. You knew he wasn't normally like this. It was because of the Medallion that he wore that was releasing these new hormones into overdrive for his body. Wearing the Medallion for a little bit is fine, but for as long as he was wearing it, there could be some... inconveniences for him. One was already his arousal levels. You already knew that male Darklings had a high virility rate and high sex drive, but you knew nothing about Dorceans or any of their sexualities. He kept you close, still trying to kiss every part of your face, and slowly moving down to your neck. Every little kiss he gave you, every breath he pressed against your skin, all sent chills down your spine, making you slightly moan in his ear. He wanted to keep going on you. He loved that sound you made when he did it. However, there was a problem lingering amongst you both, and it was only one word; the Catalysts. You were terrified of what would happen to everyone if they were not stopped. You had no choice but to stop Redimus' advances and to discuss the matter at hand.
"Redimus, I have to discuss with Queen Ojo about the Catalysts. We don't know what Cadmus Pryde 2 is currently planning besides trying to wipe us off of the face of Orbona. Will you accompany me to speak to her?" You asked him, almost pleading for help with this. He grunted softly and took off the Medallion to be in his Dorcean form once again. He then placed a clawed hand on your shoulder.
"Let us go speak to Her Majesty." He said to you, leading you to the Queen's chambers.
*Later that afternoon...*
"Queen Ojo, I am requesting to go personally stop Cadmus Pryde 2 with the aide of (Y/N) and Redimus as my protection, while having Vanpa, Hailey and Huxley as my guides to their exact coordinates." Eva Nine spoke to the Queen as Redimus, and you sat to the side of the room. Queen Ojo stared at both of you, thinking whether or not it would be a good choice. You were concerned about becoming Eva Nine's chaperone, considering that you had escaped the grasp of the Catalysts, but were now heading straight back to them. You knew there would be no reasoning with them, but maybe there was a chance that Eva Nine could do it.
"Very well. Redimus and (Y/N) guard Eva Nine with your lives. Also, Redimus, make sure not to wear the Medallion any further, or even possibly mate with (Y/N). If any offspring were to be conceived during this possible calamity, it would increase making both you and (Y/N) a target. Do I make myself clear?" Queen Ojo addressed to both you and Redimus in a firm but more patient tone than before. He nodded and looked at you as now Queen Ojo was addressing you. "Now, (Y/N), I need you to change the form you are now into one of any of the Orbonians that reside here. I do not care whether it be a Caerulean, Dorcean, or anything else. You must remain disguised as one of us in order for the Catalysts to not know we harbor a Darkling amongst us. We can't risk the lives of my people and you as well, considering that I haven't heard from any Darklings in hundreds of years." Your face lit up at that last sentence that Queen Ojo stated to you.
"You mean there are other Darklings like me?" You asked, voice hinting at the slightest hope of not being the last of your own kind.
"It was hundreds of years ago. They called themselves Mother Saturn and Father Jupiter and were guardians of the solar system Orbona resides in. Apparently, they were both of the Celestial class, the rarest class to be a part of from what I was told. My people needed their help to find a proper home and, as a result, led us here to stay. I haven't heard from them since." Queen Ojo explained, leaving you feeling lost once again and fearing that you would never find any more of your people again. Redimus saw your face change and comforted you. "For now, please prepare for your journey to the remains of New Attica. This is the biggest challenge we may all have a part in, whether we want to be in it or not." Queen Ojo gave Eva Nine a beamguide to the coordinates of New Attica from Haliey, Vanpa, and Huxley's ship. You turned to Redimus, worried about facing the Catalysts once more. Redimus rubbed his chin against your forehead, leaving his scent on you for a moment as a sense of relief for you.
"I fear this will backfire on us greatly. These people may not be in such a reasonable mood when we arrive. I think humans will be the only ones they will talk to and accept in their abode now. Eva Nine, I hope you know what you're doing, or at least what you're going to do." You said to Eva Nine as you left Queen Ojo's quarters and began packing things to prepare for the trip. Redimus was packing weapons, vary large cloaks, and food as well for mainly you and him.
"Don't worry, (Y/N). We should be able to get them to change their mind on this horrid genocide, or at least put an end to it by helping them go to a different land they can live freely." Eva Nine said to you in reassurance. You sighed softly, hoping not to sound nervous about the one thought that lingered in your mind: you knew what the Catalysts wanted despite the Medallion you had created. You feared how they could accomplish this if you returned back to New Attica.
