I ended up removing the white skirt on the mantle, as I got mixed up with my references due to a different orange-peel nudibranch (not dorid)

Fried egg nudibranch (Phyllidia varicosa (Lamarck, 1801)) taken at Molokini Crater, around 15 m depth. Like many nudibranchs, the bright color serves as a warning to predators that the organism is toxic. Eggs of this species can occasionally be found as a colorless, spiral-shaped mass attached to rock.

Originally from instagram and decided expand/give tumblr a try (maybe will start a Bsky in 2025). Background on my persona and will mostly be posting digital art and ramble on cartoon fandoms.
