Hello Frevblr I need some help.

I was recently sent this by a university lecturer who I met at an antique store after telling him I was very tempted to have the DORMAC artwork tattooed. Here are my thoughts.

After reading “Anarchical Fallacies: being an examination of the declaration of rights issued during the French Revolution” by Jeremy Bentham (published in 1796) I wasn’t convince to “preferably have the opposite perspective tattooed” Bentham to me, came across as “haughty” and narcissistic. Seemingly deliberately misinterpreting the articles simply for arguments sake. His arguments against “the separation of powers” (Article XVI) are particularly insufferable and senseless to me. nothing but hot air as you can look no further than modern politics to understand this separation is the only thing keeping certain governments from becoming Fascist regimes . Not to mention this was an English philosopher and he used a VERY ethnocentric perspective., praising English Law and the English language; the “Englishman” as the only true professors of “rights”. Even making racist remarks to the indigenous peoples of New South Wales which he generalises (they are the Wiradjuri, Gadigal and Eora people) claiming they have no form of “governance” and “law”. I’m aware of the shortcomings to the DORMAC as it’s Sanguine and has its contradictions however the artwork is gorgeous and I really would love a Frev tattoo. Not to mention the reasons for it being symbolic and not literal in the sense of political and social reform are understandable if not unfortunate. (However you could pick and chose from “active” reforms passed that do upheld and support certain Articles in the DORMAC)

That being said. Any articles on the DORMAC positive of negative anyone may have would be appreciated! :3
