Dosi is older than Time itself!

Not really... but he's extraordinarily old. Similar to his son Castov, Dosi is based off a Greenland shark, known to be the longest-lived vertebrate species (they live for centuries!). And with that age comes a calm, peaceful attitude towards life.  Dosi never hurries or worries about anything.

Dosi is a drifter and never stays in one place for long unless something interests him; he's been alive so long nothing really excites him anymore. He met both Castov & Esis' mothers while cruising the ocean and didn't stay long after they were born. He's not exactly a deadbeat dad-- he does care for his partners and children-- but not even that holds his interest for too long.

His mischievous, oddball sense of humor has rubbed off on Castov in spades-- though Dosi is far more reserved and mild in that respect. He takes everything in stride, throwing in a little twist of humor here and there. Castov frequently intentionally aggravates others (ex. playfully teasing Lurona about her children (@tides-that-bind-us)), whereas Dosi rarely does.

He has had many children over the span of his long life, and knows where most of them are, providing they're still alive, but doesn't actively seek them out unless someone needs something. His youngest son, Esis, was killed by Yiga Clan members during the events of Shadow out of Time (unfinished comic), which prompted him to visit Zora's Domain. Since Esis' revival, Dosi has been staying near the Domain to observe his son. It's a once in a lifetime event when someone cheats death!

He has good relations with Obre and their son Esis; and his son Castov.

An acquaintance sent me a rumour that a Twili was traveling somewhere in the ocean near Hyrule. I have lived through The Twili Invasion, and it has been centuries since one of your people has graced the country. I have a healthy respect for your people and history, and would enjoy sitting down to have a chat.

I admit, I'm an old codger and you sound young and full of life-- but if you'd ever be interested in speaking at length to a boring old man, I will be residing off the coast of Lurelin for the month.

Dear Dosi, Salutations ! (One of my friend is currently writing for me, as I am not quite yet accustomed to your alphabet. And that apparently, my writing is not good enough to be clearly understandable. Anyway.) Being myself, let's say, adrift to time right now, I have absolutely no problem over discussing with, as you put it, an ''old codger''; I just hope that given how the (seemingly) last time a twili publicly interacted with Zoras went, that it will not, ahem, put a chill on the exchange and that we can break the ice. (Most of the people who saw me as a twili got a little paranoid, so I prefer travelling in disguise. Funny how a hylian can get pretty much everywhere without being suspicious to the other's eye.) Now I'm rambling again ! Sorry, it can happen quickly. And by what I've understood of this era, I, too, should be seemingly an old codger, so I'd be most happy to chat with you ! I have LOTS of questions, as my current situation is...a little complicated. I'm currently on the way to investigate ruins near Lurelin village ! We could meet there, perhaps?
