me: needs Perl, which is a pain to install on... well, anything that doesn't have package management. Also, GNU has a problem with wanting to support Windows in general, because RMS has a hard-on with wanting to convert Windows users to GNU/Hurd.

me: it uses bash aliases. it needs bash. that one uses zsh. I'd rather not use zsh.

me: ...it's written in POSIX-compliant shell script. I can't use that on Windows 7 without getting either Cygwin or MSYS/MinGW to work, and do you know how painful that is?
