Summary: Coran learns that Keith owns and rides a motorcycle.
Author Note: This is the next installment of "Keith's Secrets," so this is Keith and Lance as best friends.
"Motorcycle"
Keith was supervising the latest shipment from Earth. The princess had put in for rebuilding supplies and asked each member of the team if there was anything they wanted to have shipped. Everyone had ordered some kind of Earth special drink (soda, tea, coffee), but Keith also put in to have his motorcycle brought over as well. No one (except for Lance) knew that Keith had a motorcycle. It wasn't sanctioned by the Garrison, so he couldn't keep it there. It had been parked at a friend's house. Said friend hadn't enrolled in the Garrison and was one of the few non-enlisted friends that Keith had. Keith also sent a message to the friend to let him know that the motorcycle was being shipped to him, because he was stationed off world but still planet side.
However, none of the Arusians knew what the unusual vehicle was that was parked in the main hangar. When Coran saw it, he assumed it was Lance's as the lieutenant was the daredevil/adrenaline junkie of the team and the vehicle seemed to be something he could get his kicks on. He had seen both the Commander and his lieutenant in the hangar when it had arrived but Keith had been the one to direct where the "motorcycle," as he called it, was to go.
Coran had put it out of his mind until one day. Keith had volunteered to go out on patrol but hadn't taken Black Lion, which was unusual, but Coran figured he was either going on horseback or on foot. He had noticed the motorcycle was gone and figured Lance was off riding it somewhere until he saw him following a brunette maid with an unusually short skirt. If Lance was still in the castle, then where was the motorcycle?
Coran's silent question was answered when someone rode he motorcycle back in. Even though the person was wearing a blue helmet (not emblazoned with a logo of any kind), there was no mistaking his identity, especially when Keith was still wearing his red and white jumpsuit. Coran's eyebrows shot up. He had never thought it would have been Keith who owned the motorcycle. He hadn't seemed the type, but he had apparently misjudged the commander. Since he did, what else could he be wrong about?
