Heck yeah!
Orange Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies
You know those chocolate orange confections they sell around Christmastime? Yeah, like this:
Well, if you like the chocolate/orange flavor combination as much as I do, and you like cookies, well….
Chop up a couple of those bad boys to replace the chocolate chips in a double chocolate cookie recipe. (And replace vanilla extract with orange.)
You’re welcome. 😁
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons orange extract
1¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 dark chocolate oranges, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix butter and sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add eggs and orange extract and mix until well combined.
Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Don’t overmix.
Fold in chocolate chunks with a spatula or spoon.
Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are set but centers still look slightly soft.
Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool further. (But be sure to eat some while they’re still warm. Obviously.)
Thanks for asking!
Double Chocolate Coca Cola Cake 😋🍫

1 cup Coca Cola
1/2 cup oil
1 stick butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk

3 Tablespoon cocoa
6 Tablespoons of cream or milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 3/4 cups confectioner's sugar

In a saucepan, mix Coca Cola, oil, butter and cocoa and bring to a boil. In another bowl, combine the sugar, flour and salt. Pour the boiling Cola mixture over the flour mixture and beat well.
Add the eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla and beat well. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch baking pan and bake at 350 degrees or 20 to 25 minutes. Remove pan. Cool for about 10 minutes before frosting.
Frosting: In a saucepan, combine the butter, cocoa, and milk. Heat until the butter melts. Beat in the remaining ingredients and spread on the cake while it's still warm.
