Okay, so I live in Florida and I’m trying to decide between these two binders.
Left: High Strength velcro, low arm holes, 3 layers of spandex in the front
Right: 3rd. Gen. Velcro, high arm holes, 2 layers of spandex, added felt layer
Which one would be better for Florida heat?
Which shade of gray do you think would show up less under clothing?
So this is the binder I’m looking at getting and it only comes in black or white. Which color shows up less under clothing?
So my mother ordered me a binder online from a company (Double Design) that had some to sell for a dollar (normally they're 65 bucks with shipping or something like that) for people to try out and review. As sort of background info, I've been using the Underworks Tri-top for the past 5 years, and those are what I usually recommend to folks. Before that I was using ace bandages and duct tape, which I would never recommend to anyone on this earth.
I've been wearing the double design for about 4 hours, and so far it works very well. It compresses quite strongly (likely in comparison to all my other binders, which are pretty stretched out). It hasn't hurt, rolled up, or ripped open, which is good (though I rarely feel pain from binding). I think the coolest parts are that its lined (and so its pretty damn comfy) and its adjustable.
Sizing wise, I am generally considered a US small, and the size small fit without any issues.
I'll update if I start having any issues with this thing, but so far it seems quite comfortable and effective.
