Double Walker will be released on Blu-ray on January 11 via Kino Lorber. The 2021 independent horror-drama is currently available on Digital from Cranked Up Films.

Colin West writes and directs. Sylvie Mix stars with Jacob Rice, Maika Carter, Darryl A Wright, Quinn Armstrong, Layla Pritt, Ralph Scott, Justin Rose, Christopher Hatfield, Joseph Moreland, and Tina Matthews.

I found Double Walker to be a minimalist, contemplative exploration of the afterlife in the spirit of A Ghost Story. The only special feature is the trailer, which you can watch below.

A young ghost haunts her cold Midwestern home town, trying to piece together the horrific flashes of memories from her past. One by one she kills the men she believes were responsible for her death, though her plan is derailed when she meets Jack, a kind movie theater usher who inadvertently intercepts as she’s stalking her next victim. While Jack takes her in and offers her a glimpse at a normal life, her desire to avenge her own murder lingers on.

The 2021 horror-drama arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with artwork by Champ & Pepper. It is limited to 50 copies.

Each tape includes a letter from writer-director Colin West. Stay tuned after the movie for a special feature: a Q&A with Colin West and actress Sylvie Mix.

For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed from Cranked Up Films and has been approved by director Colin West.
