I do worry about Pond, but I also am very glad he’s got phis in Joong and Aou and working through JASP.ER. They’ve both signaled their feelings about the idol industry’s relationship with food and keep trying to feed Pond. At least he’s got some people physically in place who aren’t validating the dysmorphia.
i am so sorry but the "phis in joong and aou" cracked me up a little kgjdflkgjfdklg poor joong is a month younger than pond!
anyway, yes, i absolutely agree. joong has actually been trying to nudge him in a different direction even before jasp.er was a thing. if i recall correctly, this was the first instance of "will you at least eat roti if [x] happens" back in june, which is not too long after pond went on a diet in the first place. now that aou is also in the picture, i do really hope that they can show him there are alternative ways of thinking and looking at yourself.
