For distinguished service to the peoples of the United States and the Republic of Korea, and to the peoples of all free nations. Having been designated as the first field commander of United Nations armed forces, and directed, in the common interest, to repel an armed attack on the Republic of Korea and to restore international peace and security in the area, he has given these forces conspicuously brilliant and courageous leadership and discerning judgement of the highest order. Having been compelled to commit his troops to combat under extremely adverse conditions and against heavy odds in order to gain the time so imperatively needed for the building up of his forces for the counter-offensive, he has so inspired his command by his vision, his judgment, his indomitable will and his unshakeable faith, that it has set a shining example of gallantry and tenacity in defense and of audacity in attack matched by but few operations in military history. The Nakshatras as Evil Ahh Politicians PART 10: PUSHYA, THE MILITARY BRAT

This may be a shorter post, but stick with me here. I'm sorry that it took so long for me to post this. I have been working long hours at my job these past two weeks, so I won't be as active as I was before, but I will make sure to finish this series.

Like its Saturn vimshottari lord brethren, Pushya politicians, while they tend to lack charisma (negative aura), often gain power through a stint in the military, where they gradually ascend to positions like U.S. Secretary of State or Minister of [insert department] in a government. While they are generally less common in head of state, they are often considered important to the daily functioning of their government.

And as with all things to do with the military, Pushya politicians can suck ass. In the form of an Evil Ahh Politician, Pushya natives will bring about mass violence on the world around us...for the sake of patriotism and 'defending the homeland'. What are you defending here, sir? How is killing innocent civilians defending your home?

This nakshatra is located between 03.20 to 16.40 degrees of sidereal Cancer. It is ruled by the deity Brihaspati (Jupiter), the Priest of the Gods. The Deva Guru himself, who advises the Devas during harsh times, and who is the master of sacred wisdom, hymns and rites (Encyclopaedia Britannica). In the Rigvedas, he is described as a sage born from the first great light, who removes darkness and is bright in quality. He is often depicted with a bow that is said to have its string built from cosmic order itself (Rta) ("Who is Brihaspati Bhagwan?" Brihaspati Dham).

Unsurprisingly, Pushya is often referred to as the most auspicious nakshatra. It is symbolized by the cow udder, which symbolizes nourishment and fertility, and the lotus, which is considered a symbol of purity and spiritual awakening in Eastern religions.

Pushya's shakti (power) is Brahmavarchasa Shakti---the power to create spiritual energy, through sacrificial worship above and the worshipper below, resulting in the creation of spiritual energy itself ("Shaktis of the Nakshatras," American Institute of Vedic Studies).

Now how does this manifest in politicians? Like its sister nakshatra, Uttara Bhadrapada, Pushya is considered a member of the Kshatriya (warrior) caste. Thus, martial temperaments are common among politicians with this nakshatra in their big three.

Douglas MacArthur, who likely had Moon in Pushya:

Douglas MacArthur was an American General in the U.S. Military, who served as a top commander during the Second World War and the Korean War. While he was revered as a war hero after WW2, his controversial actions in the Korean War and other incidents tarnished much of his reputation.

From an early age, he was raised to follow his father's path into military service. The son of a Civil War veteran and former Governor-General of the Philippines, he graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Now, let's skip to the Korean War. He wanted to widen the conflict after pushing back North Korean forces over the 38th parallel line ["The Firing of MacArthur," Harry S. Truman Library Archives]. He fought against Truman's suggestion of a ceasefire, which resulted in the U.S. President firing him.

I want to add that the Korean War was a brutal war, that caused millions of casualties. By trying to sabotage a ceasefire, MacArthur was basically asking for more senseless deaths. If that's not evil, then I don't know what is.

Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, who has Moon in Pushya:

I couldn't finish this post without mentioning Xi Jinping himself. One of the most powerful people on planet Earth as of 2026, he gained power as a Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission prior to ascending to General Secretary of the CCP, which is a position he still holds.

Now, this video is a perfect explanation on why he's such an evil ahh politician. Not only was he a supporter of states' rights (read: slavery), Buchanan did not do shit when the Confederacy seceded from the Union.

No wonder his successor Abraham Lincoln is considered the greatest President, Buchanan was such a loser flop that he could make even Donald Trump look like a great President in contrast. That's how shitty he was. Ugh.

He was also a supporter of the Dred Scott decision, which ruled that Black people were not U.S. citizens and that Congress could not ban slavery in federal territories, nor could enslaved persons be freed simply by living in a free state. Man, what a douchebag. Not only did he support it; he lobbied for it. Disgusting.
