Okay sooooo. She is one of the kits I decided to keep alive. But I also messed up. I thought that Ashfoot had a litter of three kits (Eaglekit, Hillkit, and Downkit), that all died around the start of TPB, and that she then had a litter before TNP that contained only Crowfeather. So I decided to keep one of the kits from the earlier litter.

However, this is not actually what happened in canon. Ashfoot had a litter of one during TPB, this being Eaglekit, and then before TNP she had her litter of three, with only Crowfeather surviving. By the time I found this out I was already attached to Downkit though so I'm keeping it this way.

So, to clarify: in my rewrite, Ashfoot has one litter of three in TPB with one surviving kit, Downtuft, and has another litter only containing Crowfeather. We are ignoring canon today folks!!

Anyway, Downtuft is Crowfeather's older sister and teases him quite a lot, but she does have his back.
