do you ever do any socializing with other dogs like at parks and stuff? have any of your huskies been aggressive towards other dogs (either other peoples dogs or maybe like if you brought a new woof home in the past)? i ask because my dog (shes getting better) isn't usually fond of other dogs unless she can rough play with them, and they often end up just tipping over the edge of real aggression >.< any tips? (shes VERY sweet with people, though) we think she was abused or fought in the past :(
I haven’t taken them to dog parks in a long time, but if we do a road trip or something we’ll go to them. Honestly at dog parks they mostly ignore the other dogs and just explore the park - they get enough dog-play with one another every day at home.
No, no aggression… but every dog is different and some just don’t wanna play with other dogs, there’s nothing wrong with them! Just make sure you learn your dog’s tolerance levels and work around that. Huskies are known for playing rough so they often play well with others of their breed.
Finding another dog with similar/complimentary play styles and energy levels is your best bet, then do play dates with that pre-screened dog :D
Good luck!

aaaaaaaaaaa! good luck on the shrimplets!!!!
Thank you! They’re doing great so far, two came with eggs so lots of shrimplets on the way, hopefully! I’ve made sure to cover the filter inlet so there’s no casualties but all the shrimp are now obsessed with hanging out on the mesh, haha! Must trap a lot of plant matter/algae that they’re snacking on.
