i feel like the only reason Olruggio isn’t more obviously a disaster (takes terrible care of himself) to me is his proximity to Qifrey, the biggest disaster (psychologically) to walk the earth

touchy Chase is so important to me lmao… the hug when they all thought House was dying, the shoulder slap when House came back after getting shot with House staring at him for it after like he’s an alien

i'm gonna lose it a bit when we finally see Easthies animated

Oluriggio is my fave overall, but "main character fave" and "minor character fave" can hit very differently, possibly bc you see the latter more rarely so go more insane when you do get to see them lmfao

also Easthies is That Type where he's just… so high strung. i need to throw him into the torment nexus

we don't need to throw Olruggio into the torment nexus bc he's so good at tormenting himself already :)

like maybe Qifrey starts to get tree’d again while making out/doing spicie things with Olly, and they’re so close the tree starts winding around/incorporating/invading Olly’s body too…

(there has to be a way for him to survive this lol)

my thoughts about Azul/Rielle are

maybe it’s just that Rielle seems like a sweet enough person from the little we’ve seen of him in canon, plus he’s in RSA the good boy school, but i find it hard to picture him as an outright bully of Azul. maybe that’s just wishful thinking tho

but, i can see him being complicit in the sense of not bothering to try and help, and/or laughing along in that way ppl can do where they’re just blindly joining in with whatever everyone else is doing without taking the time to recognize why it’s hurtful

i also feel like, similar to how Neige never did anything directly to Vil, he was just a pain for always getting the roles Vil wanted and making Vil feel compared to him, plus taking the fairest one of all crown, Rielle’s existence would be annoying enough to Azul alone simply bc of him seeming like this beloved perfect prince when Azul’s experience was not like that at all

however! while we dunno much abt canon Rielle yet i don’t think, if i assume his personality will be derived somewhat from Ariel in The Little Mermaid… him and Azul are actually kind of similar

if anyone remembers in the film Ariel was the youngest and picked on by her sisters a lot, everyone thought she was weird for going off collecting trinkets and checking out the surface instead of doing more princess stuff, she didn’t seem like she felt like she fit in

and while it’s not the same as literally being ostracized from merfolk society and feared like the sea witch, it’s not like she was 100% accepted either

plus she was obsessed with going on land

i think canon Rielle said sth abt rly wanting to be on land too

Azul also chose to go on land

iirc not many ppl from the Coral Sea do this, so they have this land fascination in common, albeit for slightly different reasons perhaps

however, i can also see Azul being like… you could have just been a normal princess and you chose to be a weirdo whereas i was forced into this and tried to make myself into something that would be more loved :’)

but yeah perhaps Rielle is interested in Azul bc of this now that they’re older

i also just like Rielle having the biggest crush on Azul. i have no good reason for this, i just think Azul is hot and people should crush on him lol

i was thrilled at the clip i saw where Rielle was like omg i wanted to keep in touch, you’re so handsome and distinguished, like hello

i kinda love that Hiehart is low-key obsessed with Olruggio and he deeply impacted Utowain altho he prob doesn’t even remember him. everyone wants you Olly,

still trying to pick apart why Karaoke + Famiresu hit the way they do and i think part of it is that Satomi is such an odd (affectionate), serious, cynical guy even when he’s in hecking middle school

aside from the choir stuff his life seems pretty normal and fine. and yet imo it takes a specific type of person to get befriended by a yakuza 20 years older than you and to not immediately run for it

just a “normal” guy with something deeply wrong with him tm. i want to study his brain under a microscope
