||Kaa and Gothel||
The school grounds were empty, it was kind of a strange hour of the day. It wasn't early and it wasn't late, but it certainly was unnatural for there to be absolutely no students on the grounds. It was a little weird, but it allowed Trish to go unnoticed into the forest. She'd cancelled her classes today, using the excuse of being sick when in reality she was just really fed up. She pushed her way through underbrush and over small rocks, weaving through the trees in search of a place she'd found recently. It was a small shaded clearing with a big rock overlooking a tiny pond. It was far enough away from campus that it felt like a completely different world, but close enough that she didn't have to go too far into the woods. She slipped off her shoes and climbed onto the rock. Laying down she let the sun beat down on her as she slipped into a relaxed state - trying to relieve herself from the various things that were getting on her nerves.
CHRIST. I just realize the time and am now very aware as to how hungry I am. I'm gonna go get some food. Don't worry, I'll be on for the rest of the night.
Jane and Kaa: Saved in my drafts and I will respond swiftly upon my return.
Todd, Hades, Toulouse, Everyone else: I hope to find responses soon, I am not kidding when I say I'm super free this evening.
Gothel and Kaa || Masked
Trish leaned against a wall, not being a wallflower, observing the room. She had somehow managed to find someone in this vast pool of masks that could dance a proper waltz and let him move her around the dance floor a couple of times. Then his wife appeared. Same story as usual, she doesn't seek them out, they find her. She walked away unnoticed as the woman went off on her husband with him pleading that 'he didn't know, the masks were confusing'. She liked the open event. Not only did she get to see her students in a different environment, she also got to encounter townies who came for a night of romance. A night of intrigue where hiding behind a mask is encouraged.
She pushed herself away from the wall and weaved her way across the room, expertly avoiding being run into by people in various states of inebriation. She'd had a couple of cups of that spiked punch too, but she could hold her liquor. Trish stepped out onto the balcony in the cool night air, enjoying the abrupt muffling of the music. There were several people out there, probably looking for a reprieve from the music as well. The pounding sound still echoing in her ears, she perched against the railing - looking out at the town under the stars. Footsteps and a voice caught her attention.
