thoughts on Colleen Holt..? (On the fact that that's her canon name, or in general)

SHE HAS A NAME!  FINALLY!

I like the idea that Dr Holt (and I maintain Dr until canon corrects me and maybe even then) is in academia rather than the GG.  I tend to write her as a Chemist?  Dunno why???  I thought it was cool??  Maybe a geologist too that’d be cool, and it’d be fun if they met through some geology studies but she’s all about terrestrial geology and Sam is all about them space rocks.  From space.

If not actual-science-science, I also like her as a computer scientist, but that being Pidge’s Thing is also fun so idk.

I also like her as the ‘who said what??  I’ll kick their ass!!!’ between her and Sam.  90 percent of the time he’s the one calming her down from metaphorically ripping someone a new one. 

I’m still torn on if she knows what Pidge has been over and if she approves of it or not.  So.  -massive shrug-

On one hand, it makes sense from a ‘how the fuck frickle frack did Pidge pull this off’ standpoint.  On the other, it feels like a VERY easy solution to ‘Pidge did some shady shit for this and is probably going to face consequences for it’.  I feel like it comes from a place of ‘but I don’t want Pidge to have done something Wrong for her quest so let’s make it Okay’??  At least for me, when I try to poke at it.
