Dr Kinbott reading psych eval notes from Wednesday’s past therapist
Xavier: What are the symptoms of teenage depression?
Kinbott, concerned: Why are you asking me?
Xavier: Tyler was doing laundry and he dropped a sock and I heard him say “Why has God forsaken me?”
Wednesday: I can’t believe I’m talking to a therapist. Well, usually I’m not the touchy-feely, talk-about-your-emotions type. But with this... I just had to be a big enough person to admit that I need help. Huh. I guess this is what growing up feels like.
Kinbott: This is court-mandated therapy. You assaulted a swimming team.
Sometimes I wonder what Dr. Kinbott would think about me if she read my books before a session like she read Wednesday’s 🤔🤔🤔
Every word out of Dr. Kinbott's mouth has me seething in aspiring therapist.
Dr Kinbott: Do you want to talk about it?
Tyler, laying face down on the floor of her office: Why would you automatically assume something is wrong?
I think I am going to die laughing at this. Lol.

Why I, a psychology student, hate Dr Kinbott (Wednesday 2022)
This thing got long.
She goes in with bias, having read the files beforehand.
She violates Wednesday's privacy by reading her unpublished books.
She doesn't allow her patients to pick where they sit (i.e. tissues are clearly placed) which Promotes a power dynamic and unease as it forces patients into a specific position.
She acts antagonizing in her session with Wednesday, and the challenging body language of course leads to provocation.
The way she gets loud when Wednesday first stands up is horrible, going more into that senseless power play. A lot of patients may feel more at ease when allowed to stand up and move around to familiarise themselves with the space they are in.
She violated the respect towards Wednesday's ability to introspect by bringing up the book (which is stupid to do on so many levels, at least ask how Wednesday feels about the relationship between the book mother and daughter duo, not asking what their relationship is. There is no guarantee at all that it even resembles anything in Wednesday's life, just look at all of us fantasizing about fictional characters in very different lifes than ourselves).
Not respecting the clear line of Private vs Professional life by asking Wednesday personal questions outside of the professional environment and disrespecting her personal time.
Violating Wednesday's privacy by sharing non-crucial information with a third party (Weems).
Fucking threatening Wednesday with more psychology sessions, which is horrible and erodes trust in the psychologist and profession itself.
'Dabbling' in psychotherapy, which is a not very well understood practice even within the field and should only be administered by a clearly trained hypnotherapist (also offering a specific therapeutic service while in hearing range of a third party, again violating that privacy).
And these are just the things I can think of off the top of my head.
This character violates so freaking many basics of ethics that it is no wonder at all that her professional relationship with Wednesday is as unhelpful as it is.
