Natasha: nods with a tired expression, which is why I think I've had enough of the dreamworld and would much like to head home to jarillo 6 and have a much needed rest

As if on cue a loud and very profound FUCK can be heard all through the galaxy causing many heads to turn even jade who's all the way in pearpoint looks outside her office window in shock

And for every follower you arrest, that's 90,000 credits a head and all funds will be provided by the IPC!!!

And now total and utterly shock sweeps the galaxy as seele and serval stand in her workshop mystified

Meanwhile, on the Xianzhou loufou many young warriors are actually gearing up and getting ready to set off towards Asdana as jing yuan and yanqing watch the multiple ships of varying sizes and some starskiffs leave the Xianzhou

Jing yuan: while the saviors orders are absolute.....the threat Dr primitive and his followers pose is too great to ignore thanks to the information that's been revealed

i find it so funny about the duality of how two erudition emanators, dr primitive and THE herta would react after discovering that their universe was just only a game made by bunch of higher plane entities (a chinese multi-billion dollar company and its overworked employees).

while THE herta react like:

i knew it!! there's more out there than these boring aeons vs. mortals! she would attempt to pry open the system that holds together this so-called game and reach out to you, the player- as she doubts she could contact the entities responsible for creating the game. well! since she already got this far, would you mind telling her all about this snoozefest of a game she's been forced to live in? how does the combat system work? and how about that warp gacha thing? oh, you lost a lot? damn, that's rough buddy. (no need to feel offended, i lost 7 50/50s. edit: it's 10 now.)

since his universe already proven to be fictitious, might as well double down for a dramatic effect.

it all boils down to their field of research, herta is interested in how the universe and its laws work, especially the aeons, while the loser on the other side just really hates how modern humans are nowadays and determined to return them to their primordial form aka monke.

i finally was able to start the paperfold university quest line today and i noticed the name dr primitive started coming up a lot. now i might be wrong but didn't dr ratio mention dr primitive at some point during the crown of the mundane and divine quest line??

i've only played though it on my main account so far so it might be a different doctor he mentioned but i swear that it was dr primitive he mentioned. just makes me all the more curious for more dr ratio lore because if i'm remembering correctly and it was dr primitive he mentioned it makes me wonder, how does he know dr primitive? what's his relationship with him? what does ratio think of him? curiosities curiosities...

i've decided i'm going to study dr ratio under a microscope alongside aventurine. they peak my curiosity and i want to analyze them so bad. for dr ratio though i also want to look into how he acts in the original chinese version since i hear the english translators took a LOT of liberties when dealing with him, even having the voice actor sound more snarky if i remember correctly.

The Geniuses not interfering with each other’s experiments as a basic courtesy would explain why we haven’t seen any other Geniuses make an appearance (aside from Ruan Mei, who I believe is set to make an appearance when we return to the Xianzhou).

But, that doesn’t explain why Polka would just be sitting around waiting. Her goal is to prevent the universe from reaching the Finality prematurely. Disregarding this courtesy and killing Geniuses is her modus operandi. She’s also killed Zandar’s physical body, and he did his damnedest to make sure she couldn’t locate Amphoreus. It doesn’t make sense why Polka wouldn’t immediately head over to try and end the whole experiment (i.e. kill Irontomb) herself, since at this point the whole cosmos knows about and is preparing for Irontomb’s awakening. (Though, this is probably a good thing. I wouldn’t put it past her to just delete Amphoreus altogether like Evernight tried to do.)

Definitely wasn’t expecting Dr. Primitive to make an indirect appearance, though.

Never expected to see the "banana flavor doesn't taste like bananas because it actually comes from an extent variant of banana" topic brought up in the form of a whole story arc (and the comparison of humanity to suffer a similar fate)

Gonna post this maybe crack theory now before 2.6 drops and with it possibly some Dr. Primitive lore.

So, I was going through this mad genius' wiki when this hit me:

What if Dr. Primitive was a Masked Fool?

Yeah, okay, we know he is a member of the Genius Society, meaning he has Nous gaze upon him, but as Boothill said before, just because an Aeon notices you doesn't mean you follow their path, the Mourning Actors are a great example.

And, based on what little we do know about Dr. Primitive, they seem more like they do all their crime science for the sake of enjoyment rather than for the sake of knowledge.

This bit really makes me believe that.

But, well, we'll see how likely this is when we finally start getting Dr. Primitive lore.
