inktober day 18
Dr. Puzz!
Assorted sketches. Mostly Yooka-Laylee.
Lemme tell you about some shitty headcanon where Yooka jokes with Laylee about anime nosebleeds because her own nose is comically perfect for it.
And the one where where Dr. Puzz is a splatoon doujin artist that regulars indie comic festivals...
Here' two redesigns of Dr Puzz from Yooka-Laylee! The one on the left is supposed to be like a retooling of the canon design, and the one on the right is a complete do-over. I explain more here.
“I don’t know, I guess people just don’t like me” Grunty and Puzz
“I don’t know. I guess people just don’t like me.”
“I don’t know,” Grunty said. “I guess people just don’t like me.”
Dr. Puzz just stared at Gruntilda. “Haven’t you considered the fact that people might not like you because you have kidnapped them, or killed them in cold blood?”
Grunty chuckled. “Oh, you are so funny. You think I care that people don’t like me. I am Gruntilda the witch. I enjoy kidnapping and killing in cold blood. I have these powers, and I intend to use them for evil.”
Dr. Puzz rolled her eyes. “You’re even worse than Capital B. I thought that I’d probably get some competency out of you after being beaten by Banjo and Kazooie so many times, but no. You’re just an annoying hag.”
Grunty grumbled. “Hey! I am more than just an annoying hag. Besides, if it weren’t for me, Banjo and Kazooie wouldn’t have the kind of adventuring experience they have now. Then they wouldn’t have passed it on to your stupid bat and chameleon friends. I think the thing you were trying to say was ‘Thank you’.”
“I never thank someone who is evil,” Dr. Puzz said. “Especially when they’re so stupid like you.” Dr. Puzz turned around.
“You’d best be careful who you call stupid,” Gruntilda yelled as she saw Dr. Puzz walk off. “When I regain all of my powers, you’ll be on my main target list, and you won’t want what I have in store for you.”
