Dr. Jeff, PPP, PPI and You
Dr. Jeff and the Planned Pethood Plus (PPP) team are amazing! The work they do and their dedication goes over and beyond. What these professionals do for all of their clients, many others (in the same field/position) have not.
With all of the knowledge and experience Dr. Jeff has, it’s obvious that it has been passed down - as it can be seen in the work of his own colleagues. Whether he be in the clinic or taking his skills mobile, Dr. Jeff spends some of his weekdays and weekends helping those who are of a far distance or are unable to attend the clinic. When they’re not performing daily surgeries or other medical emergencies, Dr. Jeff and members of PPP are usually holding educational programs - not only do they teach people how to care for their own pets, but they also educate them on many issues and concerns about animals in general.
Dr. Jeff has always believed that everyone deserves a chance, whether it be in life or their overall health. A person’s stature and/or class has never deterred Dr. Jeff, as the patient always comes first.
A great example of this, was on a recent episode of his television series ’Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet’…
A worried man enters the front door and walks over to the counter.
PPP Staff: “next”
Man: “Hi. I’m not sure if you can help me or not, but my dog has a broken paw. We are currently residentially impaired, which is a nice way of saying we’re homeless”.
PPI Staff: *tells the man to take a seat, while grabbing the dog and taking it to the medical room* After having x-rays and checking everything out, Dr. Jeff confirmed the dog had broken bones in it’s paw.
Melody: *Confirms the break with the dog’s owner, then explains what procedures will be taken* After hearing of his current situation, she then tells the man that everything will be alright and explains what Dr. Jeff is really like.
After the operation and cast was put on the dog’s leg, it was then taken back to the owner.
Man “Thank you so much, but I have no money”.
Dr. Jeff: “if you can keep bringing him (the dog) back for his checkups and pay off a few dollars every now and then, we’ll just make it $100”.
Man: Being so surprised and shocked, he said “I went to all of the other clinics before coming here and I was refused as soon as I walked through the door, because I have no money. Knowing this, you took in my dog and have helped us more than you can believe. I thank you for everything”.
The procedure and service that was given, would most likely have cost hundreds of dollars. But, Dr. Jeff cares more about animals than most people would expect. He’s the type of person to take immediate action and then worry about everything else later.
I haven’t gone into too much of the specifics and information about Dr. Jeff and PPP because it can easily be found on their website. But the reason why I have mentioned a bit about Dr. Jeff and PPP is because of the goals they have set out - which is based in various locations throughout the world. Supporting this cause not only raises awareness about it, but it will help reduce the carbon footprint in some areas and educate society on the importance of the work they are doing…
