superman #32 - draaga is seen fighting on mongul’s warworld. we’re shown draaga and superman fighting and superman refusing to kill the defeated draaga. mongul decides he must kill them both himself. superman stops him from killing draaga. superman tries to convince draaga to help him defeat mongul, but draaga says that mongul may be a tyrant, but he’s honor-bound to follow his will. mongul delays their deaths, imprisoning both of them. superman escapes and attempts to free draaga. draaga asks why he didn’t kill him, and he says it’s just the way he was brought up. the eradicator saves superman by teleporting him away moments before mongul kills him, so draaga believes that mongul killed him.
