Who says magic has rules? Part 1

Jaune is running with Cinder in hand after he came to save her from Salem. She took a hit for him before they could escape. Now they flee trying to find a way out of Evernight

Cinder: *Being carried by Jaune* You know the worst thing about dying like this is?

Jaune: You are not dying on me! Not now! *Starts using his semblance*

Cinder: I don't know who the power should go to *her eye starts to close*

Jaune: *Still running trying to find a way out* Its staying with you! You are the Fall Maiden, no one else!

Cinder: *Her breathing starts to slow* Its no good, we both know its over.

Jaune: No its not, not when I just found you! *panting heavily as he sets her down against the stone wall to focus on healing her*

Cinder: I wonder if I can give it to you...

Jaune: Cinder, you know that wont work... its magic, it has rules

Cinder: Who says... *she struggles to breathe*

Jaune: Ozpin made it-

Cinder: I was't supposed to be able *sighs with a hard breathe* to steal

Jaune: *Still trying to heal her as best he can* What is there to lose Huh?

Cinder: Just hold me.

Jaune: *holds her in his lap. Arms around her. Still using his semblance to heal her.* Please, don't leave

Cinder: I don't want to. *She sighs long and falls still*

Jaune: Cinder?

Cinder: ...

Jaune: Firelight?

Cinder: ...

11. Share the last paragraph you wrote.

It’s not much but I’ve been working slow as hell lately (aka for the past six months).

           “Fucking hell I should have just facetimed you and gave you a heads up.”

           “Last time you did that I broke my phone,” Jackie whined. “Come on, Kittycat. Let’s have some fun.”

           “Jackie,” Marvin sighed, rolling his eyes, then Jackie’s hand slid up his shirt and he closed his eyes, “Fine, but we have to be quiet. That door isn’t exactly soundproof.”

           “Don’t worry,” Jackie muttered, burying his hands in Marvin’s hair and pulling him into a kiss.

           Marvin bit Jackie’s bottom lip and the hero pulled gently at his hair, pulling a moan from his lips. Spurred on by Marvin’s consent, Jackie pushed him a little roughly against the wall, swallowing away the sound that escaped the magician, one of mixed arousal and annoyance.

How far on the list is part 2 of the remrom fic now?

Well I don’t strictly work only in order. If a prompt grabs my eye I will do it immediately just because it’s easier to write something I can rather than fight with something I cannot make work. However! The request for the Remrom Phone Sex sequel is currently about 5th from the top of the drabble list.

Keep in mind I also have my commissions and my own personal projects (My Jackie/Dark fic, Spinning Wheel etc) that weave in and out as well. I’ve been struggling with mental health a lot this winter and now of course finances have become an even larger worry (the same with millions of others both in and out of the US) so I have been slowed down somewhat.

That all being said, it is fairly high on my list and I know several readers are eager to see it, so it very likely won’t be “too long” before I get it done. I’m currently working on a huge commission and two different drabbles as we speak. I shan’t neglect our boys for long!

If you are working on a request, can you give us any little hints of what the request may be/is?

The requests I’m currently working on are AntiAverage, Prinxiety and Schneeplebro. My commissions are Intrulogical and a Loceit/Roceit/Intrulogical piece.

When are you thinking of getting them done? This isn't me rushing you, i'm actually genuinely curious. And so far what's your favourite requests out of the eleven?

Well I’m awful at estimating a time. I have two other things I’m currently doing but I will say I have started into this batch of prompts. As for favorite I’m not sure! I have a favorite ship, a favorite quote and a favorite challenge haha! Basically every prompt is my favorite for a different reason. A couple with a higher degree of difficulty but I look forward to the challenge!
