Dracaena draco | Dragon tree

Dracaena draco grows naturally across the Canary Islands, and in Lanzarote it is especially resonant within the island’s volcanic landscape. Teguise, the former capital of Lanzarote, sits in a dry, wind-shaped environment defined by basaltic soils, low rainfall, and intense light—conditions that mirror the dragon tree’s native ecological niche. Here, the species stands as both a botanical relict and a cultural landmark.

It’s really hard to get good photos of the seedlings when I’ve put them in such small containers, also please ignore all the dust everywhere! 

First photo: the only two (out of five) dracaena draco seeds that germinated, I think I sowed them like six weeks ago? I’m not sure!
