orchid: do you prefer to write one shots or multi part fics?
So, for the longest time, my answer to this was definitely one-shots. I was never very good at sticking with fics and they always turned into a disaster when I tried multi-part fics. But, I’ve had so much fun writing CoP this past month or so, I may actually say multi-part fics?
rose: which of your works is your favorite? why?
I really loved “Stray Cats” just because it was a lot of fun to write. But I also, again, have enjoyed writing CoP so much. It has really given me the confidence to work on longer pieces and to consider maybe writing some original work in the future.
water lily: what helps you get through writer’s block?
More writing haha! I’ve never felt so confident in my writing as I have in the past couple months when I’ve been doing it almost constantly. Something I learned from working on my MA thesis this past year was that you just have to get something down on the page, for good or bad, because usually, when you come back, it’s either not as bad as you think, or you see a way to fix it.
