Also the sheer disrespect of how he approached her about it, like only after he struck out with all his other options, and then clapping his hands to get her attention (“Gerri! Psst, hey Gerri! C’mon Gerri!”) like he was beckoning to Mondale or something. The way she DECIMATED him was so painful to watch, but also what else did he deserve?
