reading the dracomione manacled fanfic even though i dont like harry potter and it made me realize im unequivocally weak for a few tropes:

-sparring and the wrestling turns HORNY

-one character refusing to admit their suffering, other character finds out and is DEVASTATED

-enemies to lovers

-angst

-being all kuudere n shit and trying to be emo but inside soft and pining and yearning and emo abt it

-self-sacrifice + lack of self preservation and the other character being angry on their behalf

-forced proximity

-tragedy, just tragedy

-hate sex

i cannot sleep bc hear me out. its a harry potter sapphic dracomione mean girls romance. hermione is the new girl in town a la cady heron, and draco malfoy is the It Girl like regina george. cue the greatest sapphic enemies to lovers, academic rivals, cunty romance story to ever be written.

in my head hermione is a young black woman and draco is young a trans lesbian girlie, and the genderbent draco malfoy is basically rhaenyra targeryan

i read manacled on ao3 up until chapter 7 but i stopped cuz i don't like how dark draco is

They should have been together, perhaps because it would have been amusing and they could have worked? 

But I'm somewhat glad they didn't end up together in the books because the stories around their ship is just plain amazing. 

Urgh, my own life might be in shumbles, but god. The stories make me so happy and all.
