Drew some guys

Tw for bright colors and high contrast/eyestrain

These are Meeps! Based on sea slugs becuz I think they're cool and cute n stuff. Kinda lazily done since I started at twelve am, but y'know.

The other designs are newer and much more slug based than the cave Meeps.

These guys are my thing, I swear to God. Like. Why are they so dumb looking? Why do they look like that? Why long and fluff?

I ducking loving these things. I kinda made its body too short compared to the legs and tail, so just know, it's supposed to be longer.

The eye also turned out a little smudged, but that's fine.

I drew the different kinds of witches!

I am still scared of drawing bald/really short haired people. I think I did well enough tho.

Snake coven witches have, like, alopecia basically. They're reptiles, so they don't have hair (ignore the fact that demons are reptiles and they have hair) (my reasoning is that hair is made of tiny overlapping scales) (but the snake witches don't get hair) (look, I wanted bald witches, shush)

Uhhhhhh. Okay. Long explanation abt them each below 👇

First things first- wtf are the covens exactly?

Okay. So. The covens are basically any group of witches in any region. You can have two different covens in the same region because it's based on appearance and on region. Idk if that makes any sense, but covens are kinda like the werewolf packs- basically just family groups with maybe a few friends and/or partners. If a partner or friend isn't of the same coven, they aren't considered part of their partner or friend's coven.

Yeah, this feels convoluted. Uhhh. Yeah.

Cat coven- specializes in transformation magic and all types of tricks, hexes, etc. They're the... Chaotic neutral witches, I suppose. They also probably have the largest variation in hair color and design. Like, they can have stripes or spots, their hair can be tri-colored like a calico, etc. they have paw-like hands and feet and they also have tails.

Bat coven- specializes in fortune telling and are "masters of luck". So, basically, don't anger them or they'll get Karma on your ass (karma is an actual godd in this world) they're usually brown, tan, or black haired. They have freakishly long fingers with some webbing between them, but not enough to actually give them flight (so just horrifying) and they do have tails.

Rat coven- specializes in purity and cleaning- usually work closely with the vulture covens. They're the shortest witches. They also have a rat tail (obviously)

Fox coven- like the cat coven, they specialize in trickery and illusion, but also certain types of potions like stealth and giving "true sight" (allowing you to see a path ahead, whether physical or metaphorical) they usually have red hair with black or brown tips, but they can have tri-colored hair (add white) or just red hair. There are also some variations where they only have white hair, black or silver hair, or pale tan/ginger hair (based on arctic foxes, melanistic foxes, and fennec foxes) they have fox paws and fox tails too :3

Raven and crow covens- both are generally considered the "default" witches. They're usually the easiest to find because they find the company of other people more enjoyable than most other witch covens. They usually deal with potions of all kinds and usually have a general grasp on all kinds of magic (jack of trades type of stuff) they're usually considered the most trustworthy types of witches because of how close they are to other people. But, if you come to them with a problem that extends past their expertise, they'll likely recommend you go find a different kind of witch (which really sucks, cuz the other covens tend to live in hard-to-find and really frickin dangerous places) they don't have wings, but their arms are usually slightly feathered to look almost like wings. They also have a tail fan.

vulture coven- specializes in medicine, healing, research, and study. People generally consider themselves very lucky if a vulture coven witch or an entire coven settles nearby. Because, while raven and crow coven witches are good at healing and medicine, vulture coven witches study and perfect it. The vulture coven witches are usually very friendly towards other people. They just happen to prefer high mountaintops to live on instead of the normal and safe valleys below. Huh. Weirdos. They usually keep their hair short to avoid it getting in the way, contaminating patients, and also to avoid the risk of lice, fleas, etc. Cuz they're usually called upon in the case of epidemics (and, very rarely, pandemics) and lice and other parasites can be common during epidemics. They've got similar features to the raven and crow witches, just have less hair on the head.

Snake coven- specializes in potions in general, but especially likes to create poisons and cures to those poisons. The witches in these covens actually strive to make new poisons and new cures as often as possible. They find a poison that's "incurable" and make a cure for it. They also experiment on themselves (a lot of them die from this. They still do it.) they're also known to make potions that extend life (but they don't know how to replicate the spell that allows angels and demons to become fully immortal)

Uhhh. Ye.

Would've done an owl coven, but angels are already based on owls (very loosely, honestly)

Drew the other kinds of demons!

We got the rocky demons- literally just satyrs (satyrs exist in this world too, but they look pretty different from these guys just so you know ;)

Water demons- lomg fish guys. They don't have eyelids so they just stare at you with them big ol eyes 👁️👁️

Vulture demons are based on bearded vultures (I can't do bald people, I'm sorry :') and all of them (yes, even the ladies) have mustaches. Because why tf not? They're... They're the sassier versions of angels (who are already sassy themselves)

And then cave demons are basically water demons but. More creepy ig. And smaller/shorter. They can also blink cuz they have eyelids.

Funny thing- fish demons can leave the water at any moment in time and be perfectly fine as long as they have some moisture or humidity in the air.

Cave demons can't leave the water. Not for extended periods, at least. And they are banned from being in the sunlight (sunburns)

My next post will probably be about witches and how their covens work/how the coven they're in affects their appearance. Then Halflings! :D

Did a thing

Basically the four peoples of Dracoria and their babby forms.

Witches and halflings were excluded. Why? Iont have enough room for allat on one page.

But ye.

Vamps start out as kitten sized, half fluff covered kits. They're ugly as shii, shame them. Then they become the little rat next to the babby picture. They have scruffs that you can drag them by.

Wolves start out similarly as vampire kits. They're half-furred pups that grow into still-hairy people.

Demons hatch from eggs cuz reptiles, and are hatched ready for life (they don't really need their parents after hatching) they're missing their wings, tail, horns, and other spiky bits. So they kinda just look like scaly frogs. Or scaly human babies. Then, over time, they become a ✨ beautiful dragon ✨

Angels also start out in eggs, this time because they're birds. And then they hatch into ugly old man mold spores who hate everyone and everything. I think I drew the face perfectly. They have their wings and tail after hatching, but they aren't ready to fly just yet. They also do need their parents after hatching. Maybe that's part of why they start out so grumpy and ugly... Then they become a big, pretty, still grumpy birb.

The halflings, witches, and other demon types (completely forgot about them omg XD) have several different designs.

Witches have different covers that decide their appearance- cat, bat, rat, fox, raven, crow, vulture, and snake

Halflings vary in appearance too, but I've forgotten all of the names of each kind so we're gonna gloss past that

And the other kinds of demons are the rocky demons (satyrs, basically), water demons (Fish), cave demons (axolotls), and feathered demons (angels but.. evil :0 ooooo)

So yeh.

If you're curious-

Witches as a whole are born, none of them hatch from eggs (even the snake and bird coven witches) depending on their coven, a witch will appear different. I'll probably do a post on them alone cuz. That's a lot.

Rocky demons are the only demons that are born. The rest hatch from eggs. I'll also do a separate post on them :P

Halflings are also gonna be a different post. Sorry :>
