okay so i’ve decided to do this challenge again! i got to day 20 last time before i got too lazy and quit, but this time i want to do the full thing. and i figured that maybe if i got some people to do it with me, i might be more inclined to finish it, so i’m making a group!
here’s what to do:
you don’t have to follow me lol if you want to that’s cool, but it doesn’t matter
reblog this maybe? i just want to get as many people to join as i can! :D
PLEASE read the warning section on this post!!!
that’s all, just send me an ask with your email and i’ll add you to a group chat where we can talk about our progress or concerns or w/e you want really
warnings & the challenge i’m doing are beneath the cut!!
warnings!!:
i am by no means a professional. all of my knowledge on this is based on experience and the super boring kinesiology/anatomy class i took.
if you don’t feel like this is a safe thing to do, don’t do it. i can’t guarantee it’s safe, and i don’t want you to hurt yourself.
this challenge advances fairly quickly. you start with 50 squats and end at 250. if that’s too much for you, google has some slower ones, and you should do one of those instead.
if you can’t start with 50 squats right away, DON’T FORCE YOURSELF!! you’ll only hurt yourself. take the amount of squats listed in the challenge and take off 30 or 40 per day, depending how advanced you are. (e.g. 50 squats=10 or 20 squats, 100 squats=60 or 70 squats, etc.) or, just find an easier one.
don’t do all the squats in one go. split them up into different sets. (yesterday, i did 20, 20, 10 to do 50 squats.) it’s a lot easier that way, and you’re less likely to hurt yourself.
if it hurts beyond the normal slight burn of exercising your muscles, STOP DOING IT, you’re just hurting yourself and not helping your muscles grow at all.
eat something before (it will fuel your muscles) and after!! i usually eat a banana or oats before, and eggs, peanut butter, wholegrain products, fruits, etc. afterwards. your body’s more receptive to carbs and protein after working out, and those are really important for your muscles.
the challenge (by day):
50
55
60
break (breaks are really important, please don’t skip them)
dracuila replied to your post: on one hand i’m really happy for zayn for doing...
he’ll be fine and so will 1D. instead of being sad that he isn’t there, you could be sad that he could’ve been so stressed and depressed that he left permanently. so this, his departure, is a good thing.
that’s why i have that first part “i’m really happy for zayn for doing what’s best for him” and the part “so sad that zayn needed to do this” and “i’m glad he did what’s right.” this is what my whole post was about. it’s very unfair that he has to deal with this. i am sad that my favourite member from one of my favourite bands has left and i am allowed to be sad, but i know this is not about the fans, it’s about his mental health, and that comes first. i’m just...sad
