It was only a silly thought before but now I can’t stop thinking about a Dragon!Verse for Shalria now where she is actually a dragon instead of just having eaten the Yuki Yuki no Mi? In this verse, only the females are still able to transform but overall Celestial Dragons are no longer as huge or formidable as their ancient ancestors and very few are able to manage changing at all. Shalria would be able to do so, her heritage remaining one of the oldest and purest bloodlines in allowing her to breathe not fire but rather snow and ice.

Coming from an ancient lineage tracing all the way back to a Roman ancestor during the Roman empire. Roman Guardians are some of the oldest species of Dragons, there is a modern variation descended from this species Italian Gaurdians. However although descendents, are viewed as a subspecies that developed to adapt to modern times.

Roman Guardians, although fewer in number compared to the common Italian Guardian, still thrive in Italy, often hanging around historical sites that they've inhabited for thousands of years. The Colosseum in Rome has the oldest male of Roman Guardians to date. He is thought to be sired by Atlas (Atlatticus) himself who is recorded to have interacted with important Roman figures/rulers including Julius Caesar, & Alexander the Great. Atlas obtained his name because he seemed to 'hold the world' & was the largest of his species, it is speculated that Atlas was likely a King Roman Gaurdian, as well as likely being the only Royal Roman Gaurdian to have existed. He often traveled & assisted in wars & defending the empire afore dying a hundred years or so after the fall of the Roman empire.

This species is often sandy or tawny coloured to blend in with the sand & stone of their surroundings. They are usually very tolerant of human residents & tourist alike & take it upon themselves to preserve historic sites. Their fire is known to turn stone/rock into molten lava. They are also know to burrow under sand when they hunt & dig tunnels to travel from their dens/nests to the higher ground.
