#dragon aspect

MUL QAH DIIV - this is was a pretty quick concept from a week ago or something, but I have all these ideas for redesigning dragon shouts among everything else in Skyrim and the one for Dragon Aspect was that you sort of project your dragon soul outside your body to aid in battle and whatnot. You can control it if you focus, since it's just another part of you. It would probably be even less ghostly looking but I didn't wanna render this properly with my focus on other drawings - but I find this a more satisfying alternative to spectral armor without letting the dragonborn literally take the shape of a dragon.

With that being said, I had also been thinking about Faenil's dragonsona lol

Alexstrasza — “Lunchtime”

because even the Life-Binder deserves one calm meal surrounded by tiny chaotic dragons 🐉 My 3D Warcraft fanart of Alexstrasza, built around a softer and more playful mood than usual. I wanted this scene to feel warm, alive, and full of little details you notice one by one.

The universe I homebrew for my D&D campaign, The Codex of Shadows, has a lot of elements fairly aligned with Faerun as we know it (the main action is within Faerun). However, there are things that came with a twist, such as the dragons.

There are of course smaller dragons, wyrms and whatnot similar other creatures, but there are ten prime dragons, known as The Aspects. They embody various elements of the nature, but not only. Some tend for more abstract concepts, such as life, death, light and shadow. Some are benevolent, while others are less, with about a third of them lingering in the neutral territory.

The Aspects are the ones the shape the world as we know it. Older than the Gods and even parents to some of the Gods the mortals look up to or seek to destroy. The very order of things depends on the Aspects and currently, things are a bit shaky.

This is Lady Zaevita, the Aspect of Life. At her core she is a Green Dragon, but for most part she lives her life in her humanoid form, which at first glance resembles a half-elf.

I saw other people create custom dragon aspects for their ocs.

I was thinking Quenanya's should be gryphon themed since her alias in the Beautiful is Nagravia (who is a white gryphon).

Another look at my Dragonborn…

I had this idea to draw my DB character using the effects Dragon Aspect shout for a while, but decided to just roll with one eye gone all draconic — maybe as if he’s just powering-up or something.

(I also had a plan to animate the shout effects buuut I was too lazy to do so didn’t have time to!)

Fynn manages to keep his Dragonborn status a secret for quite a good while. Only those closest to him know for nearly a year, and even Erik — his eventual spouse — doesn’t learn about it for several months after meeting and getting involved with Fynn.

Fynn didn’t want to be ‘destined’ for anything, so he tends to disregard his Dragonborn abilities for a while. Eventually the threats to the safety of the people he loves push him to use his secret weapons of power more often and embrace the side of him that he’s tried so hard to suppress.

Fynn is fully blind in his right eye. He had already begun his sword training and had to relearn a lot of what he had already mastered to compensate for the loss of peripheral on that side.

His left eye is typically a light grey-blue (thanks to his half-Breton heritage), but I thought I’d spice it up a little bit with a dragon eye.

Cannot wait to post so much about my Skyrim bbs!!!!
