I would love some recommendations since I have finished the Inheritance cycle and Cornelia Funky's dragon rider books. Thank you, you never fail to make me happy with your posts. ❤❤❤❤

Ooooh! Those books are fabulous; some of the first major chapter books I started reading. If you’re interested in fantasy/dragon books, I’ve got a great list!

First off, the Dragon Codex books by R.D. Henham are fantastic! They are based around the dragons from D&D. My personal favorite is The Black Dragon Codex.

Second, if you’re interested in a more child-esque book I really love the My Father’s Dragon trilogy by Ruth Stiles Gannett. They’re short books, but the story is really cute and fun.

Thirdly, the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland is really good! If you liked the Warrior Cats books or Guardians of Ga’Hoole, you’ll be interested in this. It follows 5 dragons who have to fulfill a prophecy. 

Fourthly, and lastly, for now, is the Enchanted Forest series by Patricia C. Wrede. The first book, Dealing with Dragons, is one of my favorite books! It’s about a rebellious princess who runs away to live with dragons. LOVE THIS.
