I can't seem to take a photo mode shot of him that doesn't make him look like either a bobblehead or a potato, but I finally got a screenshot of him at the right time in a cutscene.

Mimir Mourningstar Ingvallar, formerly of Nevarra. He lives up to Varric's nickname for him with how, in Varric's words, he 'tends to think in straight lines'. Stern and relentless, he has no patience for going in circles with words and hidden meanings. Obviously, this means he doesn't get along with a certain person even a little bit.

I legit forgot about the corpse room pit until that post lmao it gave me SUCH a spook when I stumbled across it in my first playthrough!

The Lords of Fortune were definitely kind of undercooked but there's some clear signs (corpse pit) that there's more than the surface glimpse we get from Taash's cutscene dialog and a brief wander around the base. It feels like something the writers would have liked to have explore more but had to trim in favor of more overarching-plot-relevant things.

I almost didn't clock it was him at first, he walks onto the screen and I'm like what the heck, who is this... strangely familiar... OMG!!!!!!!!

He's perfect 😭 It really felt like Embriel! The VA sounded huskier and less pointy than he did in DAI but it really works for him.

(I realized a few days ago that I'd made his shoulders too wide, but fuck it, the stringbean DAI model was silly.)

I've only had Emmerich for five minutes but should anything happen to him etc. etc.

He reminds me of my OC Rasputin and I couldn't be happier!
